Doomed (Bruno Madrigal x Reader)

Short Storie 1

-Bruno POV-

I rushed down from my room and ran around. I had to get ready for Y/N birthday. This had to be perfect it was her first birthday being with me.  I didn't want her to think I didn't care.

"Julieta! Will you please invite Y/N over tomorrow.. don't tell her why. We need to plan a surprise birthday for her... it needs to be perfect.." I said rushing my words.

"Calm down Bruno.. I got this. Leave it to me. You just... get her s gift. Make it nice." Julieta smiled at me. I let out a relived sigh and thanked her.

I walked out and headed to my room. I had an idea for a gift.

I walked down the steps from my room the next day. Heading down to the front door. I was waiting for Y/N to show up so we could celebrate her birthday.

Julieta had already invited her yesterday. The whole town was in on it. I hope she likes this...

A knock on the door startled me and I walked up to open it. Everyone else was hiding and waiting. I cleared my throat and opened the door. Y/N looked at me confused. "Oh hi Bruno.." she said confused. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I yelled in unison with the others. Antonio's birds dropped a sing that said 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!'

Y/N smiled happily and hugged me tightly. "Oh thank you!" She said her words muffled as she pressed her face into my neck. "It's no problem cariño." I chuckled and rubbed her back.

She let go and ran to Julieta and gave her a hug. I smiled and watched. She sure was a wonder and I'm glad I'm with her.

As we held the party and got the cake ready Abuela walked over to me.

"Oh Bruno.. I'm so proud of you. I do wish you'd get married soon though. I can't wait for the family to grow." Mamá said happily and helped me get the cake set.

"Oh mamá.. I know you want the family to keep growing but I don't think it's time yet.. we've only been together a few months." I said uncertain and fiddled with my thumbs.

"She seems to like you a lot Bruno. But don't rush it if you don't think it's time." Mamá said to me reassuringly and headed out to get the rest of the family.

I sighed and smiled. "Some day." I say quietly and jumped as Y/N and the others walked in. Y/N smiled at me and sat down in the chair in-front of the cake. I smiled back at her and gave a thumbs up.

"Happy birthday Y/N!" We all cheered as she blew out the candle. She leaned up and grabbed my cheeks. She pulled me to her and kissed me. I blushed and kissed back.

Camilo whistles and Félix slapped his head gently. Everyone else laughed and I pulled away from her slowly. She giggled and stood up. "Want some cake?" She asked me.

"Y-ya.I mean yes." I shake my head and chuckle embarrassed. She shook her head and laughed as she cut me a slice of cake.

She passed me a slice and got the other some as well.  We sat next to each other and ate our cake.

"Y/N I got you a gift.." I said as casita made a wrapped box slide down the table from the counter where I put it. "I hope you like it.." I say awkwardly looking away. "I'm sure I'll love it." She reassured me and opened the box slowly.

I watched as her eyes opened wide and she smiled. She pulled the green heart shaped emerald necklace out. She smiled at me and put it on. "Oh Bruno, it's lovely." She said happily and hugged me. I chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck. "I'm glad you like it.." I say smiling at her.

"You're such a sweet man." She said hugging me. "Come on." She stood up and pulled me out of the kitchen before anyone noticed.

We headed out to the opening of the house. The moon-light shinning down on us. I grabbed her hands and swayed around with her.

She giggled as I twirled her around and dipped her. "Oh!" She laughed and I kept her in the dip position. I looked down at her. "Hello my lovely dove." I cooed and she smiled. "Hello." She winked. I leaned down and kissed her. She kissed back and I pulled her up slowly. 

I pulled away and looked at her. Wrapping my arms around her and pulling her close. "Thank you for making my birthday special.." she smiled and patted my cheek.

"Where did you get these emeralds anyways?" She asked me curiously looking down at the heart neckles. She moved it around and gasped. "Is that us in the.. emeralds?" She asked shocked.

I chuckled and smiled. "Yes, you'll find out the reason soon" I smiled and kissed her lovingly. She kissed back and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I can't wait for when she finds out the moment this prophecy comes from. But I can't tell her now. It would ruin the surprise in the future.

"Okay.. I guess I can wait." She giggled and patted my cheek. I chuckled and hugged her. "I love you." I whispered in her ear.

"I love you too you goof." She giggled and laid her head on my chest as we swayed in the moon light.
