P.O.V: Hermione
It was a surprise when Ron showed up in my room about 45 minutes after I had sent him the letter. He looked absolutely terrified, he was also still wearing his pj's. The old chudley cannon shirt he always wore to bed was still strung hastily along his body. I was able to keep my leering to myself before he noticed.
"Ron?" I said, my voice a little higher than usual. While I was worried about the situation at hand I didn't think it could be that serious, it sounded like a joke if I was being honest with myself. If Ron was here it was definitely bad.
"Hey, we have a problem. You know that letter you sent me, well that's not a joke we need to talk," He sighed. Not a joke, Darco was demanding I marry him. The thought itself was disgusting. I was trying really hard to concentrate but I kept looking back at his arms and his chest and... were back hopefully.
"Are you wearing pyjamas?" I giggled. I knew the answer to that question but I needed to pretend I hadn't been checking him out.
"Yep, can you come downstairs?" He asked me. He looked absolutely terrified, every other thought in my head was going off like alarm bells. This was bad, really bad. I stood up and followed him out to the kitchen where Mr. Weasley was sitting with my father.
"Mr. Weasley... what exactly... is going on, the le-tter from the ministry what does... it mean," I found myself stuttering. I sat down at the table and Ron took the seat next to me.
"What letter Hermione?" My mother asked.
"I got a letter from a ministry official, something about a blood marriage," I explained.
"MARRIAGE?!" my father and mother screamed at the same time. My father had turned his attention to Ron, a glare plastered on his face. Oh, he must think...
"The blood marriage is what we're here to prevent," Mr. Weasley said, seeing the look my father was giving Ron. Ron himself was squirming under his gaze, his neck was red and his hands were fidgeting on the table.
"Oh," my Dad acknowledged.
"A really old law, one that had been reactivated. My eldest son did several papers on this law. Ron here used to read them over, he always idolized his older brother," Mr. Weasley smiled. I looked at Ron whose face couldn't have gotten redder. I knew he idolized his older brothers but I never knew he took it as far as to read their work.
"So what is a Blood marriage?" Mom asked, setting the tea on the table.
"It's one of the most horrible things ever created by magic," Ron practically spat, Mr. Weasley poured the tea out for the two of us "The magical world used to have a law saying that if a pure-blood asked a muggle-born for a blood marriage they can't say no," Ron explained, if I thought Ron's face couldn't get redder I was sorely mistaken. He looked madder than I had ever seen him.
"WHAT?" Me and my family screamed. I couldn't say no, I couldn't say no to Draco. He was the worst person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I would rather die than marry him.
"That's not the only bad thing about blood marriages, when you have a blood marriage the pureblood will have complete control over that muggle-born... they can also take away the muggle-borns magic," Ron said, I placed my head in my hands wanting nothing more than to crall into a little ball and cry. Ron put a hand on my back, I couldn't help but let out a small sob.
"That's why we need Hermione to come with us," Mr. Weasley told my parents. "She has a week to respond and get her things in order. I have already sent a message to our order. They have already started to research a loophole to get her out of this situation," Mr. Weasley reassured them.
"THEN GO," my father shouted, "WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE, GO FIND A WAY TO STOP THE ASSHOLE FROM MARRYING MY DAUGHTER," he demanded. Mr. Weasley nodded and with a wave of his wand my trunk was packed within minutes. I did a once over of my room making sure I hadn't forgotten anything. I sighed holding back tears, would I ever see my room again. If we didn't find a way out of this would I ever see my parents again? Would I ever see Harry or Ginny? I would never get to say all the things I wanted to Ron.
"We can fix this Hermione," Ron insisted placing a hand on my back again.
"How do you know?" I cried, no longer able to hold back my tears. He looked into my eyes with his beautiful blue ones.
"Because... I... we can't let this happen, if we have to hide you forever then so help me we will. We will find a way to fix this if we have to read every god-forsaken book in the world on blood marriages, even if we have to read all of them twice. I promise you I will do everything in my power to stop this," Ron lamented, his eyes never left mine as he spoke. I nodded my eyes filled with tears.
"Alright kids, time to go," Mr. Weasley said, breaking the moment. Ron took his father's arm and I took Ron's, with my suitcase in hand and wand in my pocket. We appreciated out of the house. I was expecting to see the barrow when the dizziness of apparition stopped but I saw nothing. Well, nothing magical. We were somewhere in the London Borough of Islington, I had read about it in a book my father had given me.
"Here read this," Mr. Weasley said, handing us a piece of paper.

As I memorized the lines a new figure appeared out of the corner of my eyes. The large apartment was old and decrepit squished between the other buildings. The muggles didn't seem to notice the new building, something that looked so out of place on the street. We walked to the building as quickly as we could. I was still clinging to Ron's arms feeling if I let go I would fall and never get up again.
"Hermione! What's going on?" Ginny screamed, giving me a tackle hug.
"Yes Arthur I think we would all like to hear why we were rushed here at 9 in the morning a week before we were supposed to," Mrs. Weasley scolded.
"Someone in the ministry approved a blood Marriage between Hermione and Draco Malfoy," Mr. Weasley explained.
"NO BLOODY WAY," Ginny shouted, she looked like she could set something on fire. She wrapped me in an even tighter hug.
"No, that's... no," Mrs. Weasley choked, not even bothering to scold Ginny's swearing. I moved back holding my body against the curtains on the wall.
"MUDBLOODS, FILTH SHAME TO MY FAMILY AND-" the wall shouted. I jumped back, bumping into Ron.
"SHUT UP WILL YOU," I heard Sirius's voice shout. He screamed a silencing charm on what I realized was a portrait. "Sorry, my mother has a nasty habit of being a bitch,"
"Sirius, don't swear in front of the children," Mrs. Weasley scolded.
"You are aware they already know all the swear words," Sirius pointed out. I heard Ron give a small laugh and realized he was still holding me from when I fell into him. I tried to hide my blush or at least make it so no one noticed but alas Fred and George were now making teasing looks in my direction.
"We need to start our research immediately, we have till next Saturday to find a way to stop this," Mr. Weasley announced. "Sirius, you know this house best. See if the library has anything useful. Molly dear, send a letter to Bill he would know about this better than anyone. Everyone will be helping and researching," Everyone nodded and moved to do what they were told. Ron held onto me for another moment before following Sirius to the library.
