P.O.V: Hermione

I felt like smiling for eternity. Ron loved me! We talked about the wedding for hours after we confessed. The strangest part is it felt so natural, it felt right. I didn't realize before just how much I enjoyed it when he looked at me. Just having his beautiful blue eyes look at me like I was the only thing in the world. At the beginning of this week, I was scared and angry thinking I would be forced to marry Draco Malfoy. But now I would be voluntarily Marrying Ron.

Ginny and the twins came in about an hour later and they definitely noticed the difference. Thankfully for the two of us, the twins were immediately silenced by a mean look from Ginny. She gave me a wink before going upstairs. Mr. Weasley arrived at around nine.

"Hermione, is this your dress?" he shouted. I mentally facepalmed, I was so caught up in this conversation that I completely forgot about the dress. Ron could have seen it just by going into the hallway.

"Oh, yes please don't bring it in here Ron's in the kitchen,"

"Alright I'll put it in Ginny's room," Arthur said with a hint of confusion in his voice.

"Why don't you want me to see your dress?" he said, cocking his head almost as a dog would. I don't think I realized the tradition wasn't the same for the wizarding world.

"It's a muggle tradition, the groom isn't supposed to see the dress till the wedding," I explained.

"That's a dumb rule I wanna see," he pouted. I shook my head about to explain when the doorbell rang. I got up, getting to the door before anyone else could. I don't know exactly who I was expecting to see as I opened the door but it was not them. Lucius and Draco Malfoy were standing in the doorway sneers on their evil faces.

"Granger, how nice. We thought you might be hiding from us," Lucis sneered.

"How did you know I was here?" I gasped.

"Well money buys you things," Draco sniggered, "though I doubt this family would have taught you that. I wanted to slap him again. How dare he say anything wrong about the Weasleys, they had decency. Unlike them. I heard Ron's footsteps just before his voice.

"Hermione who's at the do... YOU," He screamed. Ron stood behind, thank goodness his wand was upstairs. He would be none too kind to the Malfoys.

"Stop being so dramatic, Wesalbe. Just here to pick up my new wife," Draco said with a slimy smile on his lips.

"I...I have till Saturday," I squeaked. Ron put his hands on my waist pulling me closer to him.

"Perhaps, but we never have been any good for the rules," Mr. Malfoy sneered, he looked down at Ron's hands. It was almost like he took some sick pleasure in pulling us apart "We can't have any of that can we, you are my son's property aren't you,"

"MR. MALFOY," Arthur shouted, running down the stairs at an alarming rate "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE,"

"I have every right to get her Weasley," Mr. Malfoy blacked taking a grab at me. Ron moved back, taking me with him.

"No you don't, you have that right on Saturday at 9:30 a.m not today. SO LEAVE BEFORE I FIND A REASON TO HEX YOU," Arthur cured. The Malfoys looked surprised at his outburst but held strong. I could feel Ron's arms wrap around me harder as though scared they would rip me out of his arms.

"Fine but we will take her eventually," Lucis spat, "Draco let's go," Draco looked disappointed but went along with his father sending us a mean glare our way before apparating away. I looked back at Ron who looked like he wanted to kill someone.

"He thinks you're his property," he spat.

"Ron-"

"That's bloody mental Hermione,"

"Ron-"

"When he comes back on Saturday I'm going to kill hi-"

"RON" I shouted, he stopped talking, "Not that I don't enjoy this but you're still holding onto my waist," I sighed. He slowly let go.

"Sorry," he said with a defeated look on his face. He ran a hand through his dark red hair, a sigh on his lips.

"It's ok," I smiled. I gestured for us to move back into the kitchen, Ron followed me shaking his head at the Malfoy's behaviour.

"I was just scared they would take you," he sighed, sitting down at the table. He looked vulnerable, his voice was shaking slightly, a hint of panic in his eyes. I sat down next to him, taking his hands.

"I was too, but after Thursday night they won't be a threat anymore," I promised, I looked into his big blue eyes as he nodded. "Everything will be ok and then we can just be a couple," I said. He smiled at my words pulling me in for a kiss. As our lips met I realized there were a lot more people in the room and than just us.

"I told you this would happen," A shrill voice screamed, one I recognized as Goerge's.

"Well, why else would he suggest it," Fred cut in waggling his eyebrows. I saw Ron give a dirty look to his twin brothers, Ginny gave me a happy look. She had been telling me that this wedding was an opportunity to get with Ron since the beginning. She was in fact right.

"Can you two leave them alone," Ginny barked.

"We all knew that if this wedding hadn't happened now it would happen eventually," George

"Can you three sod off," Ron said moving his hands along my waist.

"RON, don't swear," I disapproved, the whole kitchen laughed as Fred and Goerge wolf-whistled at the two of us. It was just for a moment but the world felt perfect, it felt like I was actually a part of this family. Just another one of the Weasleys, I was going to be Hermione Weasley by the end of Thursday.
