Third Person.
Daniel was sitting on his couch, watching a Youtube video when he heard a knock on his door.
He was a little puzzled, seeing as nobody he knew told him they would be coming over, but he still continued to get up and walk over towards the door.
His face became filled with concern when he opened the door to a crying Melody, still only in shorts and a hoodie. "Shit, Mel, are you okay?" He immediately hugged her. She didn't reply, but just sobbed into his chest.
He sighed and kept his arm around her, keeping her close as he closed the door incase anybody could see what was going on. He then wrapped both his arms around her, not saying anything. He could tell she just wanted a shoulder to cry on without having to explain, so he decided to comply.
The pair stayed there for another 15 minutes until eventually he picked her up and brought her over to the couch, sitting her across from him.
"I-I'm sorry, I just didn't know where else to go..." She sniffled and wiped her tears. Daniel gave her a small smile and shook his head, "No, you're all good. So...can you tell me what happened?"
"Me and Zach, we..." Melody sniffled and smiled, making a joke as she hoped it's stop her from crying, "We got into a bit of a tussle."
Daniel couldn't help but laugh and shake his head, "Melody, I know it's hard, but please be serious."
Melody sighed and nodded as she kept her eyes on the ground. "I, um...I've been getting alot of hate from the fans lately and it became too much to handle. I tried to ask Zach to tell them to leave me alone on likw twitter or some shit, and it quickly started an argument." Melody sighed as she shed a few tears, "Then...when I brought up how he did it for Kay all he said was, "She's different". Like what does that even mean?"
Daniel huffed and covered his face, "God, he's an idiot. Such a fucking idiot."
"Yeah, you're telling me." Melody let out a small, sad laugh. "And then...when I was leaving he grabbed my arm. I know he wasn't going to hurt me, he would never, but I still...I still got bad memories." She sighed as she finally looked at him
Daniel shook his head, "That's completely valid, and he should've known not to touch you like that during a heated argument. When do you...when do you plan on talking to him?"
"I, um...I don't think I can until the fans calm down. I'll tell him that, of course, and i'll go live to ask the hate to stop, but I just...I can't do it." Melody paused as more tears flowed down her face, "I thought I could, but I can't. I love him so much, but I can't."
"Love him?"
"Yes, I'm sure of it."
She fell apart as daniel pulled her into his arms again.
"Please take your time, Melody. Don't rush into it just because you love him too much. I don't," Daniel soon started to fall apart as well, "I don't want you to end up like me and Franny." His voice cracked a little when he said her name.
The couple hadn't even broken up, but the amount of toxicity that radiated off of them was enough to break Daniel down everytime he talked about it.
"Daniel..." Melody sniffled. Daniel shook his head, "Don't be like us, okay? Your love is too beautiful. Don't let it turn into something it isn't."
"I won't. I promise, I won't. I'll love him when I'm ready, I promise." She wiped her tears.
Melody looked at him and frowned seeing how emotional he was. She cupped his face. "Daniel look at me," He moved his eyes to meet hers.
