Third Person.
"Jack and Ashton, I swear to god if you don't stop fighting like children right now, I'm going to be driven insane!" Jonah huffed as the two 'children' immediately stopped bickering.
The group decided to go shopping together, they wanted to hang out but also needed to be efficiant, so Corbyn had the not-so-smart idea to all go together.
About one hour in, Jack and Ashton were constantly throwing shots at each other, Melody and Zach had left the group to wander off somewhere, Daniel wouldn't stop going on about some argument he was in with Franny, and both Conan and Corbyn were trying to buy things that they didn't even need.
Poor Jonah was being pushed to his limit, it was almost like he was babysitting.
"I'm getting a call from Franny, I'll be right back," Daniel sighed and walked out of the store. The whole group immediately stopped what they were doing and watched him leave.
"If nobody else is gonna say it then I will. They're toxic as fuck." Ashton shook her head, almost feeling bad for the couple. "They're not toxic, they're just having a rough time...they'll get through it, I'm sure they will." Jonah frowned. He always tried his best to see the positive side of things, he hated negativity and would rather try to be happy than spread more of it.
"Well, look who finally showed up!" Jack spoke with a sarcastic smile as Melody and Zach could finally be seen walking back to the group, Melody having her arms around his bicep.
"Oh, haha, very funny. We were just looking for the apple juice," Zach shrugged. "Yeah, speaking of, where's Daniel?" Melody moved her head to look around. "On the phone with Franny outside." Corbyn shook his head.
Conan suddenly walked towards the window where you could see Daniel on the phone outside, obviously very angry. "Wow, nosy much?" Zach snorted and kissed Melody's head as she unwrapped her arms from around him to follow Conan. "Not nosy...just observant." He shrugged in reply and kept watching the ocean-eyed boy.
"He looks like he's yelling." Melody frowned, immediately getting the whole groups attention. Daniel and Franny had been in countless arguments within the last week or so, but yelling at each other would be a new thing. The whole group crowded around the window, watching his every move.
Suddenly he shoved the phone back into his pocket and began walking towards the entrance, the young adults quickly scrambled to look like they were minding their business the whole time.
Daniel walked up them with his eyebrows raised, "You do know that I could tell you guys were watching me, right?"
The whole group groaned and Daniel let out a small laugh. "But, seriously, are you guys okay?" Corbyn frowned. Daniel just shook his head, "We may take a break."
"What?" Melody frowned. "A break, not a breakup, just a break." Daniel clarified and scanned his eyes over everything in the shopping cart, "Anyways, do we have everything we need?"
"We should get ice cream for Corbyn's birthday!" Melody smiled with excitement, "And a cake too!"
"Mel, my birthday isn't for another two weeks, and we won't even be together cause it's on thanksgiving." Corbyn laughed and shook his head. "Exactly, we won't be here, so why not celebrate now?" She shrugged and started pushing the cart.
"Ooo, can it be a confetti cake?" Conan mused and followed her as she pushed the cart towards the baking isle. "I'm fine with anything as long as it's not chocolate." Daniel gagged. "We should get red velvet." Zach nodded and walked next to Melody.
"Red velvet is literally chocolate with food coloring, dumbass." Daniel hit the back of his head, not hard enough to actually hurt him, but hard enough to make him wince.
"I'm gonna kick you in your face one day, I swear I will." Zach huffed and looked over all the different cake flavors. "What kind do you want, Corbyn?" Jonah asked, ending the short argument between the boys. Corbyn smiled wide, "Coconut."
The whole group gagged and Corbyn laughed loudly. "Kidding, kidding. Red velvet is fine." He smiled as he reached up to grab the box. "You guys need to learn how to take a joke."
Melody grabbed some plain blue icing and some sprinkles along with other things to decorate the cake with and tossed them into the shopping cart.
"Who's gonna pay for all this?" Jonah furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at all the things in the cart. "Hey, y'all are the rich ones, don't look at me." Ashton shook her head. "Rich? You must be talking about the boys." Melody scoffed. Zach chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, "What, has the 'mad at you' check not come in yet?"
"He's very right, Melly. You literally produced a song that went number one on billboard, you can't really pretend like you're broke anymore." Conan smiled as the group started walking towards the register.
Mad At You charted number one on billboard, and currently still is, last week and to say the group is estatic would be an understatement. They had at least three parties to celebrate, the boys are growing their fanbase by the day, and more huge artists have been reaching out to Melody for help producing new music.
Everything was happening very fast, and as happy the girl was, she still wished everything would slow down.
"I'll pay." Jack announced and pulled out his credit card. "Thanks Jack," Ashton smiled and kissed his cheek. The whole groups mouths' dropped at the sight while Jack and Ashton kept loading their groceries as if everything was completely normal.
"Jash-"
"Don't even finish that sentence."
Melody laughed and held Zach's hand as they all walked towards their seperare cars. Jonah stopped the cart and looked at them, "Who's riding home with who?"
"Well, Mel is obviously with Zach," Daniel nodded. Melody furrowed her eyebrows once the words left his mouth. "Who says I have to ride with him?" She crossed her arms. "Oh, come on, you guys are practically dating." He shrugged in reply.
"Well, maybe I want to ride home with Corbyn." She protested causing Zach to frown. She looked at him for a second then back at Daniel, "Actually, yeah, I want to ride with Zach."
"Alright. Daniel, Ashton, and Melody with Zach. Me, Jack, and Conan with Corbyn. Got it?" Jonah stated as if he were their father and they all nodded.
"Why would you put those four together? They're just gonna talk shit about me the whole time." Jack frowned getting into Corbyn's car.
Jonah snorted, "Yeah, exactly."
