Third Person.
"Alright, hello, my pretty babies." Melody yawned with a smile as she set her tablet up against an empty area on her counter, watching as all the comments flooded her instagram live.
"Alright, so I know I never go live or do anything like this, and it's literally almost 2AM, but I got the urge to talk to you guys while making a random meal. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do." The girl grinned as she sat down in front of the screen, deciding to conversate with her followers before cooking.
"'Why aren't you asleep?'", Melody read the question off the screen aloud. "Well, short answer is I'm not tired. Long answer is I'm home alone and just got back from the studio, so I decided, why not?" She replied, putting her hair in a ponytail.
She smiled at the screen, "But, we do have alot to talk about."
"So, I've been thinking about moving out, cause as most of you know I've been living with Conan for almost 2 years. Before y'all freak out, we're still the best of friends, I just feel like I'm growing up, and living on your own is a big part of that." She nodded as she got up and walked to the fridge, raising her voice so the stream could still hear her.
"It's just the stage I'm in, you know? Especially since I feel like I'm Melody Jane now. Like I've always been 'Conan Gray's friend', then it turned to 'Zach Herron's possible new girl', but I feel like now that I have my own following and I'm working with new artists, and I'm taking better care of myself, I can finally...be me. I'm finally me." She announced, grabbing a container full of blueberries out of the fridge.
The girl walked back over to the tablet and smiled as she saw loads of supportive comments come in, popping a few berries into her mouth.
"I'm just happy. I feel like I'm growing up." She stared at the wall as she ate, trying to gather her words. "I feel like I need to dye my hair or something. Just to symbolize this new stage in life."
She let out a small laugh at her own words and read over the comments.
"Can't believe Zach settled for this.", One of the comments read. Melody frowned but kept reading, trying her best to focus more on the love she was getting than the hate.
"'Where's your boyfrjend?'" She read another one of the comments aloud. "I believe he is at Daniel's house. Guys, he doesn't have to be with me 24/7 just because he's dating me." She laughed a bit, closing the container she was previously eating out of and putting it back into the fridge.
"Alright, so, honestly, we're just gonna make a nice bagel sandwhich. It's very quick and easy, and I love it." She nodded as she washed her hands before turning on the stove.
As she did so, Zach sat at Daniel's home, watching her from his phone. "Why don't you comment or something, to let her know you're watching?" Jack randomly spoke up from beside him.
Zach shook his head, smiling and laughing a bit when he saw the girl accidently drop something on his screen, "Nah, I like knowing she isn't acting different or anything to try and be cute for me. I like seeing her be her."
The girl yawned as she turned on the stove, grabbing a pan and some bagels. "I always make some eggs and put them on the bagel with some humus. Its's so good, I promise." She smiled at her screen as she walked to the fridge.
After getting situated, she grabbed her phone, connecting her phone the speaker in the kitchen. Melody yawned as she began playing '777' by Silk Sonic.
She let her hips move a bit to the beat as she read a few comments off her screen.
"She's using Zach for money." One of the comments read.
Melody couldn't help but respond to it. "Actually, no, yeah. You're completely right. I'm using Zach for views and money. Not attracted to him at all." She said with a shrug, trying her best to keep a straight face.
Zach laughed loudly at this, throwing his head back. He knew for a fact that her humor would fly over some of the fans head, but that just made it funnier to him.
Melody couldn't help but let out a small laugh as she began cracking some eggs into the pan, grabbing some cheese.
Zach smiled as he closed out of the app to message her.
He began typing away, "you're definitely the cutest cloutchaser i've encountered."
He sent the message and got off the couch, walking outside as he knew he would probably be recieving a call from her soon.
Melody smiled wide when she got the notification. She smiled at her live, "Welp, my boyfriend just messaged me his credit card number so I'm gonna go spend all his money. Bye guys!"
She ended the live, the smile never leaving her face as she went to Zach's contact and requested a FaceTime.
He immediately accepted.
"Too damn old to be acting like that," Zach immediately laughed out once they connected, causing the other young adult to laugh as well.
"Come over." She smiled wide. "We can share a bagel."
Zach smiled and shook his head as he grabbed his keys off the counter, "I'll be on my way, beautiful."
