The dogs barked as they all made their way through the woods with flashlights and the police, rain coming down on them.

"Jughead! Jughead!" everyone shouted at the top of their lungs, hoping to get some sort of response.

Veronica - "Isn't it crazy that in just nine months, life as we know it..."

Aminity tripped as she made it out of the morgue, falling to her hands and knees on the pavement outside. Her breathing was erratic as tears came to her eyes, blood pounding in her ears.

"Will be over," Veronica said in disbelief as she sat on Archie's lap. Betty gave a sad look glancing at Jughead who had his arms around her waist.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Archie asked Reggie.

The windshield smashed as Reggie brought the crowbar down.

Cheryl and Toni jolted awake, turning their heads towards the hall.

Aminity opened her eyes, panicking as she found herself knee deep in Sweetwater River.

Betty - "What I'm about to tell you puts everything on the line."

A figure snuck up behind Betty, hitting her in the back of the head with the butt of her gun.

Jughead - "Our deepest desires..."

Aminity closed her eyes, leaning into the kiss as his hands made their way to her hips.

Jughead - "And our darkest fears."

The slideshow of crime scene photos went through, making some in the room nauseous.

Betty's eyes widened. "Oh my God."

Veronica - "I'm no stranger to scandal."

Veronica danced on the stage, clothed in a black unitard with sequins.

Archie sat up in bed, capturing Veronica's lips with his.

Cheryl walked down the hall with Toni and the vixens at her side, smirking and blowing kisses at onlookers.

Veronica let her finger slide over one of the clean cars outside of Pop's.

Jughead led Betty to the bed, their lips never leaving the others.

The football was snapped, Munroe pushing Reggie out of the way.

They drove back into Riverdale, FP's sheriff car at the front.

///

Aminity raised her hands, the lights and music pulsing as she danced with the rest of the room.

Cheryl turned on her lighter and lit the fireworks. They all smiled and laughed as they held the sparklers and watched the fireworks light up the night sky.

"Jughead!" they yelled, moving further into the woods as the sky became darker. "Jughead!"

"To senior year," Veronica toasted. "And all of its glories."

///

Jughead banged on the top of the wooden coffin. "Let me out!" he screamed, but no one could hear him.

///

"I always knew he was coming back," Aminity spoke, looking down as tears came to her eyes. "But now he's not."

So who's excited for this book! I have been waiting to do this one for forever. Lots of things happen and even though Aminity isn't as involved with the mysteries of the town, this is her year!
