"Alright, we're on in five," one of the crew members yelled as the Riverdale and Stonewall teams went over last minute questions and the host practiced. Last minute make up touches were added as everyone tried to calm themselves for the big event. Aminity looked up from the practice cards she had made to see Jughead and a man talking to Betty. They walked away and Jughead came over to her.

"Hey."

"Hi," she smiled.

"You ready?"

"I think so."

"You're gonna do great. Break a leg."

"Thanks."

He started to walk away before turning back around. "Hey, where's Sweet Pea? I thought he was coming."

"He got caught up with a job," she said sadly while forcing a smile. "It's fine. He said he would watch."

"Okay. Hey, you got this."

"Thanks," she smiled as places were called and she joined her team as they started rolling.

"Well, hello, everyone, and welcome to RIVW's Quiz Show! We have our returning champions, Stonewall Prep, facing first time finalists, Riverdale High. So, let's get quizzing. What country has the longest coastline in continental Europe?"

"Norway," Betty buzzed in.

"Correct." He continued to ask questions, Betty and Bret seeming to be the only competitors.

"The Miracle of Dunkirk."

"Correct."

"Aft, bow, port, starboard," he answered.

"Correct."

"If the limit never approaches anything, then the limit does not exist."

"Correct. In his 1899 novella The Jungle Book, what author-" Aminity went to hit the buzzer at the same time as Bret.

"Rudyard Kipling," he answered.

"Correct." Betty and Veronica hit their buzzers at the same time.

"Demand..."

"Demand side economics," Betty said overtop of her.

"Why are we even here?" Cheryl whispered.

"It's like she knows the answers before the questions are even asked," Toni let out.

"Burgundy, France," Veronica answered.

"Ooh, sorry. That's incorrect." Veronica looked at Betty.

"It's okay," Betty told her.

"To Stonewall."

"Cotes du Rhone," Jonathan answered.

"Oh, sorry. That's also incorrect."

"It's Bordeaux, jackhole," Bret whispered.

"Actually, Bret, it's Alsace," Joan told him.

"The correct answer is Alsace," the host said. After the failed question on both sides, the other competitors began to answer more, the score staying very close.

"A sequence of numbers related to each other based on addition or subtraction," Aminity answered.

"Leonardo Da Vinci." Donna.

"Grant Wood and 'The American Gothic." Cheryl.

"Henry VIII." Joan.

"Robert Cawdrey wrote the first dictionary." Aminity.
