Moonlight Festival Pt. 2

Sadie's POV
=======

Why are men such ass holes. Well I won't even say men, just, people you have sex with in general. Why do they all feel as if they can control me. I'm so frustrated I just need a moment to think.

I didn't need his help walking to the freaking bathroom directly across the street. God, how self-righteous could he be right now. I walked through the holds of people and reach the steps on the other side. "Huh? Who would've thought, I made it to the other side in one peice." I turned to see Jax staring right at me. I waved to him.

I turned back and stepped into the tiny dive bar. Woah, the line is ridiculous, I refuse to wait this out. I'll just pee around the corner. Not like I haven't done it before on a drunken night out with Tracy. I turn to exit the building when I bump into this perve.

"Hey baby doll, Can I help you with something." This big burly man scuffed out.

"No, no. Nothing sir." I tried to slip past but he refused to budge. I sensed he would reach out to touch me.

"If you touch me, I'll scream. I mean it." He stood to the side and grinned as I slid past. "Creep."

I dashed through the door frame and sprinted out behind the building. The cheer of the crowd still loud in my ears but low enough for me to hear my own thoughts again. I scanned the area to make sure no one was around and kneeled to pull my jeans down. If someone caught me back here I would just die.

Snap.

I jumped to the sound of a tree branch snapping. "Hello, Jax... Is that you?" I squeezed what was left from my bladder and used a napkin from the bar to wipe myself dry. "If your that disgusting perve from the dive bar I swear to God. My boyfriend will kick your ass!"

"Hi girlfriend, that boyfriend of yours soounds, pretty, scary." Keira stepped out of the shadows with a grin spread across her face.

"Keira, what are you doing here." I wrapped my arms around myself as a cool breeze whipped through my coat.

"Skt Skt Skt. Don't be like that with me. I told you we would see each other again. How would I know it'd be in my neck of the woods." Keira walked over to me and I tried to step away but my legs didn't work.

She circled me and placed her hand under my coat. Letting her fingers linger on my skin. Her touch made me want to vomit. "What do you want Keira? I have someone waiting for me."

"Ohhh, is that so? Don't you ever forget that you are mine. I poured everything into you. I didn't even realize how important you were. You know, you mom was a real peice of work. She just could never mind her fucking business." Keira held her head back and laughed at the darkening sky. Clouds rodde overhead and thunder could be heard in the distance.

"Wait, what? You knew my mother?" I bit my tongue. Not wanting her to know what ever she was trying to do was actually working. I wouldn't let her get into my head.

"Damn artists. They just never know when to leave well enough alone. Drawing those fucking painting, peering in to spy then expose us all for the world to see. You know. She got what she deserved."

Keira wiped the tears that managed to break free. Another crackle roared from above and Keira snapped back to the present as the rain began to fall from the sky. "That's our cue darling. You're coming with me." She grabbed my arm and tugged me towards the forest.

"I'm not going anywhere with you. You're crazy. Have you been watching me or something. How do you know my mom?" I tried desperately to smack her hands away but she continued to grab and shake me. I would've never thought my beautiful date with Jax would end with me in the dark,, fighting with my ex, in the freaking rain.

"Let me go bitch, you're crazzzy. Let me go please. You said you didn't want to talk to me so why are you here." Keira raised her hand and struck me across the face. A wave of fire flushed through me and I grabbed at my face. No amount of rain could wash this feeling of dread building in me now.

"Don't! Call me crazy. Now let's go Sadie. As much as I would love to do this with you, someone has placed a bounty on you from the supernatural world. Your lucky its me who caught up with you in these woods tonight. Other creeps would've had some real fun." She placed her face into the nape of my neck and inhaled.

I cried and tried to push her away but her slap had frightened me into submission. "Whoo, would, place a bounty on me. I'm no one." I tired to reason. "Ddid, you say supernatural? What the fuck is going on Keira, please?"

"You'll see. Now move it." She pushed me further towards the treeline.

I took a few steps then fell to my knees, landing in a muddy puddle created by the angry sky. I tried to reach into my back pocket and pull out my phone but she had spotted it. "Don't be stupid. I don't want to hurt you. Give it to me. I won't ask again."

I held the phone tightly to my chest, "No." Keira raised her booted foot, planting a kicked right to my stomach. "Ughhh." I had never felt a pain like this. The ground began to spin as I lay in the soil panting for air. Rain filled my nostrils and a fierce cough reached my lips. I used my hand to wipe saliva from my mouth. Only, it wasn't. I stared at my fingers to see the crimson liquid, warm and sticking to them.

Keira crouched down and I recoiled into my self. Throwing a hand up to block her next assault. "Please, I'm sorry." I sobbed out between fits of coughs.

She snorted at me and snatched the phone from my outstretched hand. "I didn't think I would need to use these, but I RRALLY don't wanna hurt you darling." After placing the phone in her back pocket she kneeled behind and pulled my hands behind my back. I winced in pain but she could care less. I could feel her sniffing my hair as she wrapped the cuffs around my wrists and pulled me to my feet.

I was hopeless. Useless and hopeless. I said a silent pray to the sky that Jax would just forget about me. He deserved someone strong, not some weak puppy. Keira and I had made it to the thick treeline when a bolt of lightning streaked across the sky and slammed into a tree directly in front of us.
The flash caused me to stumble backwards into Keira and we both landed on our asses. "Got Dammit!!!" She lifted us from the ground. Holding me with one hand and dusting her butt of with the other.

"I'm sorry baby. You know I can get impatient." A sultry voice came from the darkness. The smoke from the burned tree began to clear and Keira pushed me through the small opening. I continued to loose my footing but Keira would not let me fall. We made it to the other side and my feet planted on solid soil. We were now outside of the tree lines and the familiar sounds of the forest I had heard early all came rushing back.

"You actually got her, wow. You kick ass, and it's super sexy." The woman totally disregarded me. Running up to Keira and planting a kiss to her lips.

"This has qot to be some kinda joke."  I stumbled out of Keira's grip.

Melanie stepped closer to me and the shine of silver in her hand caught the moonlight. "Oh hun, does this look like a joking matter to you? Now shut the fuck up."

Melanie stepped forward, using her teeth to rip off a peice of duck tape she held in her hands. She placed it over my mouth.
