Magic Embrace

Jax POV
======

Jax stood in silence, watching Sandy. Mascara running down her face, and her red hair was heaved into a ponytail ontop of her head. She had jumped out of the bed and gotten here as fast as she possibly could. Knowing the hidden city was the very last place she wanted to be, and hearing that Fergus was the last person to see Sadie, she truly felt sick to her stomach. Members of his unit scrambled about trying to heal the ancient tree. They needed to keep to hidden city safe, and that giant hole would soon cause a problem. "Jax, get over here soldier."

Jax jogged over the Spence, "Yeah Serg! Have you found anything?" Spencer shook his head and disappointed sunk in his chest.
"However, we have gotten Mr. Crowley to open his doors and allow us inside. Now, I wanna trust you to do this interrogation but if you can't handle this appropriately..."

  "Mmhh, I..." Jax voice had cut out. His head hung low. "I'll go with him... if that's okay." Sandy placed her hand on his shoulder. He hadn't even known she was there. His emotions where tampering with his abilities, no matter how well he tried to hide it.

  "I can tell if he's lying. Hunter boy can do all the talking I'll just offer support. Is that okay, I care about her too. She's my best friend." Her voice trembled. Her very first time admitting this.

Spencer raised his hand to stop her rant. "Whatever it takes. Go" He turned to help the other's tend to the dying tree. "We need to mend the perimeter. We have many enemies, won't be long before they sense our weakness and use it to their advantage." While they worked to reconstruct the damage, Sandy and Jax walked over to the tavern with a few S.T.F soldiers in tow. Jax reached the door an damn near kicked it off its hinge.

  "Heyyyy, you stupid Hunters don't know your own strength. My doooor!" The short, stubby man ran over to assess the damage. Jax and the others quickly filled the space inside the tiny bar.

  "I'm only going to ask you this one time Bar Keep. Did you see anyone leave with her?" Jax fumed through gritted teeth.

  "Is that what all this fussing about is for?" Fergus walked away from the door and walked behind his counter. "All these S.T.F agents stumping over everything." He took up a rag and began buffing shot glasses. "Geesh, one lassie goes poof....Well, since your here. No, I haven't seen her and I don't know nothing." He pointed a glass at Jax. "Shot? Looks like you could use it."

Jax rushed the fat man and had his hand clamped around his throat. He squeezed and the gagging man dropped the glass. Jax lifted him and drug his heavy torso over the bar.

  "Aahh aaahh, you just.. stand there.. letting him..." Fergus could barely form his sentence, resting his belly on the tabletop.

  Sandy came to his side and placed her hands lightly on Jax muscled arm. "Hey, hun? Let's relax. How 'bout I ask him, maybe he'll play nice now. Yeah?" Jax nodded in acceptance but did not free Fergus.

"You.." Fergus snorted. Sandy stepped closer to the bar.

  "Hey, Fergi I don't wanna be here, you're the last person I ever wanted to see. But, my best friend is missing and we need your help to find her, before..." She swallowed hard.

He turned his body, the best he could, to face her. "Well, a friend of a whore aye. If she's anything like you, she deserves whatever she got."

This sent Sandy in tears, and Jax into a rage. He yelled out to the sky. Pulling the man completely over the bar and slamming him to the dirt tavern floors. Fergus cried out in pain and Jax soaked in the sound. "You will regret that plumb fool." He served a kick to the man's face and blood poured from his nose.
