LURKER
JAX POV
========The sun shines through the windows and Jax rolls over to shield his eyes from the bright rays. He hears the shower running and growls deep in his throat.
"Keira, I told you I wanted you out didn't I." Jax sits up and his silk sheets slides from his torso.
"Keira!", Jax shouts this time, listening for the sultry voice that never comes. His own voice bouncing back to greet him good morning.
He exhales through his nose and stands to his feet. He stretches and heads towards the sound of rushing water. "I swear Keira, I'll ring your neck if you don't speak."
He walks into the bathroom, feeling the cold tile on his bare feet. Steam rolling down the glass shower door reveals no one in side. Jax signs, releasing a breath he didn't know he was holding.
He shrugs and steps into the streaming warm water. Submerging his head, he leans against the cool stone. Tensing his muscles, Jax feels a cool breath on his back. He swirls around, ready to pounce but there's nothing. "What the hell?!"
Scrubbing his hands across his face, Jax finishes up and steps out of the bathroom ready to suit up and begin his day.
He dresses in a black t-shirt and covers it with a sleeveless leather jacket. Black jeans and leather hunter's boots. He pulls his weapons belt around his waist. Loading it up with his daily tools. Including a high voltaged stun gun, and his favorite hunting knife.
Jax steps outside of his door an locks it. "Hey Jax, nice to see you up early bud. We're all meeting in the briefing room in 20." Jax turns to see Spencer, number two Commander of their special task force. "Copy that Spence, lemme grab a bite and I'll head over."
Jax heads towards the grand stairs leading to the entrance. He stops to inhale the fragrance of the mystical forest that protected his home. The giant trees lined the entire city, majestic lavender leaves dancing to the music of the wind.
In the middle of the magical city stood a tree woman. She was said to have lived and breathed once upon a time. Loved the city and his people so much that she died to protect them. The ancient ones, as they are called to the locals in town. Now we are the ones protecting her as she still protects us. She is the reason for the roots that sprouted to envelop or secret city. The lavender leaves represent how much she gave to save her people. Jax smiles at the thought. Knowing that he lives with a purpose.
Looking through the sea of green cloaks, he spots a vendor in the street. "Breakfast is great at my little diner. Come in and give it a try for yourself. I need not say a word more." Jax rushes over to the short, stubby gentleman and nods to him. "I'd like a serving please." "Ayy, good man. Come on in, I'll fix you up myself."
Jax walks over to the bar, spotting an unoccupied stool and takes a seat. "Hows about some coffee Hunter. It's the best you'll find." The stubby man directs his words towards Jax but never slows his pace. "Ugh," Jax looks at the man's name tag hanging from his uniform. "Fergus, just Jax, please. And that would be much appreciated."
"Alright, sure.." Fergus walks behind the counter and smacks a skinny red head on the ass. "Red, be a doll an fix our friend, Jax, here some coffee whilst I whip him up a nice meal."
"Sure Fergi!" She grabs a mug and heads over to the expresso machine. "Asshole." She grumbles under her breath. "Would you like cream and sugar hun?" She directs her question to Jax. "That's fine love."
