They'd been helping Alphys move to her lab on the surface, but if they hadn't been rough housing in the elevator, they wouldn't have found the hallway. That was all it was. A monotone, grey hallway with doors on either side. Alphys started to check it out, going from door to door and seeing if there was anything useful inside. "Did you know this was down here?" Undyne asked her girlfriend. "N-no.." She replied, bewildered. The first door was a office, the door across was some training room with various weaponry and training equipment. "COULD WE USE SOME OF THIS ALPHYS?" Papyrus asked. "I h-have no use f-for it." She replied, shrugging. The next room after the training room was a study with books and papers scattered everywhere. Some of them were in some sort of code, others were in common. The room across the study was a shower. There was just one room left. It was passcode protected with the code though. "I can break it down." Undyne offered, smirking. "N-no. Not yet.." Alphys mumbled, trying to hack the lock. It seemed nobody has been down here in a long time. "try cross with a circle, thumbs down, pointer finger up, sun, drop of liquid."

The quiet, hoarse voice had startled them. "Holy crap, someone's in there!" Alphys typed the passcode the person within had suggested and to her surprise, it worked. She opened the door to a dark room with sparse furniture. All that was in there was a wooden dresser, devoid of any clutter, and a bed with a single white pillow and a grey fleece blanket. Sitting on the bed was a skeleton. He wore a white T-shirt and black jeans, standard for lab employees. His face held no emotion as he stared at them. His smile was blank. It was unsettling. "oh, you're not him. get out then." His voice was equally blank and devoid of emotion. He looked away, choosing to stare at the wall. "A-are you ok..?" Alphys asked. She didn't know how long he'd been in here. "i function well. leave." He replied. "You don't have to be so rude, as-" Papyrus covered her mouth. "FORGIVE MY FRIEND, SHE MEANS WELL, WE ARE SIMPLY WORRIED FOR YOUR HEALTH."
"i function well, i do not intend rudeness, i am merely following the orders of the royal scientist."

🤍🤍🤍

"I-I am the Royal Scientist." Alphys piped up after the other two gave her a look. The skeleton stayed silent before speaking. As he did so, he stood up, many of his bones snapping and popping as he did so. "i see, he is gone then." He faced the three before bowing, placing a hand to where his soul was. "i am wdg 1-s of the spear head project, a secret project the old royal scientist had started nearly 30 years ago. i am a weapon meant to destroy humanity once the barrier broke. i take orders from the royal scientist, that now being you." He explained in a painfully hoarse voice. "A WEAPON..?"
"correct." He did not move from his bow. "How long have you been down here?" Undyne asked. "i am not authorized to say." Undyne looked to Alphys. "P-please.. answer the question."
"i was created here, trained here, and commanded here."
"Y-you've never left this hall?"
"i've never left this laboratory." He replied. They all shared looks of shock and worry. "What do you mean, created?" Undyne asked looking at Alphys since she knew what this guy was gonna say already. "i am not authorized to say."
"Answer the question." Alphys prompted once again. "i was created, along with another, with the matter and soul piece of the former royal scientist. i am not a monster, only a weapon for you to command." Nobody seemed to like his response. He was ready for any punishment they wanted to give him. "ONE OTHER? SOMEONE ELSE WAS DOWN HERE?"
"Answer the question." Alphys said before the skeleton could deny. "wdg 2-p had long since left this place. his whereabouts are unknown." He replied. "Come on, sir." She wasn't going to keep him down here any longer. "yes doctor." Not that he seemed to care.
