"How was therapy today?" Jay asked as we changed for the night now that the kids were put to bed.

"Good we went through some anxiety techniques again and talked about the possibility of us having another kid among a few other things," I explained as I set my earrings on the dresser, "How was your check in with the psychiatrist?"

"Really good. She wanted to check in about my sleep and we noticed and trend over the years it improves. I told her your quip about me sleeping like I'm dead to the world, but she said that improvements likely because I'm with someone I trust enough to completely let that guard down. Which makes sense," he explained, taking off his watch and setting it on the nightstand.

"Wow, that actually makes a lot of sense. I guess if I think about it, mine improved when we moved in together after a while. Then we had kids, but it's leveled out again now that they're older."

"We talked a bit about our relationship which reminded me the holiday seasons have been so chaotic, we haven't had a date night in a while so," Jay paused, pulling out a bottle of red wine and two glasses, "I thought we'd have a little at home date night."

"That sounds absolutely wonderful. I love you so damn much."

"I love you too."

He poured us each a glass as we just enjoyed each other's company and chatted.

"What did your therapist have to say about us having another baby?" Jay asked as he sipped from his glass.

"She wanted to know my reasons behind it. I said it was something we've thought about and Ryder is old enough now that it wouldn't be crushingly overwhelming to add a fourth to our bunch. Plus I'm not getting any younger, now would be the time. She was on board with the idea when she saw how happy I was talking about it," I explained, "Then we went through the roles in my life and I realized that of all of them, I love being a mother and a detective the most. It was a really good session."

"I'm glad babe. It sounds like you guys worked through a lot. And I'm glad she's on board the baby plan."

"The only thing I'm worried about is how it'll effect our romantic time. We don't have a whole lot of time as a couple now, adding another one will only make it harder."

"How about we make a plan then for how we can make sure we still have couple time? That could work."

"I love that idea. Unfortunately we'll have to take wine dates in bed out of the lineup."

"We'll just have to use it to make the baby."

"Sounds like a good plan to me."

"Was the second bottle of red my bad decision or your bad decision?" Jay asked as he rubbed his temple.

"I think it was mutual?" I chuckled as we walked into the district, "but I'm inclined to blame you."

"I'll take the hit."

"Morning. Somebody got the Irish flu," Trudy grinned with a playful smile.

Shaking our heads, we headed upstairs. Heading straight to the break room, I made us coffees as he pulled out the ibuprofen, only to find it was empty.

"This is such a Ruzek move," Jay sighed, making me chuckle a bit as I handed him his mug of coffee.

"Come on, I've got some in my desk."
