"Alright baby girl. This is it. Mommy and Daddy are getting married" cooed Harley as she sat in the dressing room area of the church with Skylar on her lap.
"So the bridesmaids are all done up" interjected Natalie, "So now it's your turn".
"Okay!"
Gabby took Skylar to play with while Harley had her makeup done, along with her hair. Once she was all dolled up, it was time to put on the dress. Gabby was taking pictures for the intimate wedding photos. She was an amazing photographer.
They took pictures of Becca helping button up her dress and pictures of Harley with Skylar. It was all really adorable. When Harley had the dress completely on, she turned around to face her friends.
"Sissy you look beautiful" complimented Becca.
"Thank you little sis" beamed Harley.
There was a knock on the door followed by a "Is everybody decent?"
The girls chuckled before replying yes. The door opened to reveal Kelly dressed up in his tuxedo. His mouth curled into a smile as he saw his best friend.
"Harley you look... amazing" he commented with a smile.
"Thank you" she exclaimed.
"But uh it's time".
She took a deep breath, "Alright. Let's do this".
They walked into the main part of the church where the giant doors to the sanctuary were shut. They carefully set Skylar up in the wagon that Becca would be pulling. Gabby handed Becca the basket with the rose petals while Natalie was getting Owen set up with the pillow that held the rings. The guys stood around, waiting for further instruction.
"Alright. Is everybody ready?" asked Gabby, performing her last made of honor duty.
"Yep" they all replied.
"Becca, Skylar, and Owen will go in first. Then sit with Matt in the front pew. Then Mouse and I will walk followed by Natalie and Will, then lastly Kim and Adam" instructed Gabby, "Then it'll be time for Corin and Kelly to walk. Everybody good?"
"Let's do this" grinned Harley.
She stepped off to the side with Kelly so know one saw her. The kids walked down and everybody was smiling at them. Skylar, being a baby, didn't know to be quiet, so she was making cute little cooing noises. Jay waved at the kids as they did there thing and then sat down. Then the bridesmaids walked down with the groomsmen. The door shut and Harley could hear the music play. She took a deep breath as her and Kelly looped arms.
"You ready?" sweetly asked Kelly.
"Absolutely".
The two men on either side opened the door, revealing the bride. The two began to walk down the aisle, smiling. Jay stared at his soon to be wife in awe. He semi-dramatically clutches at his chest, causing Harley to chuckle.
When they reached the alter, Kelly gave her a peck on the cheek and whispered, "I love ya".
"I love you too" she whispered back before he let go and joined Matt on the pew, pulling Skylar into his lap.
Harley took Jay's hand and stepped up onto the alter. The paster began his opening monologues before getting to the vow section.
"The couple has written there own vows" he informed the crowd before leaving it up to the couple.
"Harley, you are the love of my life. You're so independent, strong, and pretty badass" he chuckled, "You're an amazing mother to our daughter, despite your worries and I love getting to witness that. I'm so lucky to have you both in my life and can't imagine life without you guys. You two are my everything. So standing here today I promise to always be by your side, no matter what storm we go through. You're my girl and I love you with all my heart. I can't wait to spend forever with you and our family".
Harley waved at her face, trying not to cry. She chuckled a bit and took a deep breath before beginning her own vows.
"Jay, there's not enough words for how much you mean to me. You and Skye are my world. You're such a great father and friend. I'm so happy that I went through the hell I've gone through because it's what lead me here to Chicago and to you" she smiled, pausing to keep herself from crying, "God brought us together not once but twice when we reconnected when I was assigned to Intelligence. I know we're meant to build a life together and I can't wait to see what our future holds. I love you, always and forever".
"Jay, do you take Harley Jacobs to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do" he grinned.
"Harley, do you take Jay Halstead to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do".
"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride"
Jay passionately connected his lips onto hers, dipping her down as everyone cheered. They walked down the aisle, hand in hand, with giant smiles on their faces.

A little while later it was time for their entrance at the reception. Everyone was packed into the room, excited to see them.
"Announced for the first time ever, Mr. and Mrs. Halstead!" cried the DJ as the couple walked in.
People cheered and hollered before moving to congratulate them. After everyone calmed down, it was time for the first dance song. Jay and Harley walked out onto the dance floor when God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts began to play. Jay couldn't help but smile at the song, knowing it fit them perfectly.

When he song ended, everyone changed the dance floor and danced like nobody was watching. After a while it was time for dinner at the speeches. Gabby stood up, clinking her spoon against her glass.
"For those of you who don't know me, I'm Gabby, Harley's made of honor" began Gabby, "I was so honored when Harley asked me to be her maid of honor. 2 years ago we weren't extremely close, but then my husband and I adopted her little sister, Becca and we became family. I've watching your relationship with Jay and I know you two have so much love for each other. Here's to the Halstead's!"
