Dynasty P.O.V
"Drizzy please. Just let me see her." He begged, grabbing my hand.
I flinched, and pulled away.
He frowned and took a step back. He took a deep breath, running his thumb across his nose before speaking.
"Who is he?"
"What?"
"You heard me. Who is he?"
I ran my hand across the back of my neck, avoiding eye contact.
"Who's who?" I ask.
His tongue came in contact with the inside of his jaw.
"Quit playin' wit' me gurl. Who you been wit'?"
I was hoping it wouldn't come to this. I never really had the time to figure it all out.
I sighed.
"Look. I'm sorry, but I'm not ready. I just need sometime." I ignore his question.
"Drizzy it's been three months. It ain't that much time in the world, How much time do you need!?" He defended.
The more he pressed me the more I wished that somehow I could just make it all stop.
I wiped the burning tears from my eyes before I spoke again.
"Look, in case you haven't noticed. This is heavy. And it ain't just about me no more. I gotta protect mah baby. So I'm sorry if it hurts but Brooklyn is just comin' ta terms with the fact that her daddy was murdered! and mommy can't bring him back! So excuse me if I'm not movin' fast enough fa you, but I'm just not ready ta sacrifice her sanity."

Sometimes I wish I could just rewrite the script. But let's just keep it a buck, this ain't no fairytale. It's my life. And it goes down how it goes down..
But how was I supposed to tell my baby girl that the last year of her life was nothing but a lie?
