Three Years Later

August P.O.V

"Yeah, just hop on that. No mistakes this time." I say ending my phone call with Rio, Dynasty's assistant.

I check the time on my watch hoping I wasn't behind schedule.

With Drizzy out of town on business, I was left on super assistant husband duties while still handling my own boss man business. Oh and can't forget about best daddy ever duties.

"Daddy," Brooklyn calls from the backseat.

"That's whatchu call me." I respond, checking traffic in my rearview mirror.

She chuckles.

"When is mommy comin' home?" She asks. "We got money ta make."

I laugh.

"She'll be home soon Brooke. Just a few more days." I assure her.

It's funny how time changes things. Every since I could remember my whole life was just all a dream. Until it wasn't.

If you ask me, seem like I was just predestined to be great. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. I know it sounds cocky, maybe even a lil conceited. But I say that as humble as I know how.

I mean, here I am again, married to the girl of my dreams. I'm a proud father to a beautiful child prodigy. All this, even after life itself counted me out.

Dynasty's salons are still expanding, bringing in more revenues. Redd and Rio still holding down her night clubs. But that ain't even the half of it.

In addition to her multiple establishments, she started the Sista-To-Sista foundation; A support group for women who suffer from domestic violence. On top of that, she just published her first book. Beauty & Blood sharing her story of love, lost, blood, sweat, and tears. Already selling over 1 million copies put her name on top of the charts every where.

Brooklyn's hair line is making greater sells than ever before. My baby girl is officially the new face of beauty supply. And if that ain't enough good news for you, somehow Drizzy managed to take TheBrookieBrand international. Baby girl only 10 years old and she got money walking across boarders that her feet never touched. And what amazes me is, despite the hard work and hassle it takes, she still manages to get straight A's in school.

I couldn't be more proud. Sometimes I just sit in my office and cry.

Oh, right. My office..

As for me, Well. Let's just say
🏀Kourt-Side Kicks👟 ain't just a shoe shop no more. I've expanded as well. I now own and operate four locations with another in the making. I recently cut a couple deals with the NBA, and NFL producing custom kicks and cleats for thousands of players in the league.

Between me and Drizzy alone, we bring in at least a quarter mill' every week. As a man, it's my mission to make sure that my family won't hurt for nothing.
