"Yeah, just give me 'bout anotha hour or so and I'll be up that way. I gotta finish up wit' baby gurl first." I say to one of the warehouse guys over the phone. "Aight, yeah, just handle that and I'ma scoop up Ben J and we can slide out. Aight."
I ended my call, hopping back into mah truck.
Way back when Drizzy got caught in that house fire pops insisted everybody lay low. So, we did. Everything was chill for a while. Niggas was actually out here going legit.
But all that changed quick when Yungin' got smoked.
I guess pops just figured since he wasn't here to look out fa Drizzy no more, we had to get back on the ball. Cause it was only a matter of time before somebody try to hit her up.
So, he rallied up the troops and it was all hands on the hustle. Just like taking candy from a baby, we was back on that bull shit.

"Yeah babe?"
"Can we go ta the flower shop?" Brookie asked from the backseat.
We had just finished another one of our lil shopping spree/dinner dates. The day was far spent and I was trynna get back ta the money.
"What fa?"
"I wanna get my mommy some flowers. She really likes flowers."
"Oh yeahh?"
"Yep. Sometimes when she gets sad about my daddy she goes ta Nanna and Poppa's house to smell the flowers in Nanna's garden." She chuckled before she continued running down all the details. "And one day her friend got her a loooot of rainbow flowers. They're really pretty! And she smiles at them all the time so I wanna get her some incase she has a bad day ta cheer her up!"
I laughed to myself at her cute innocent rambling until I realized she wasn't just rambling.
I glanced at her through the rear view mirror.
"You said her friend got her some flowers?" I asked.
"Yep. That's what she told me." She shrugged.
I nod, putting two and two together.
"Say Brookie, you ever met ya mommy friend?"
"No. Not yet. But she said that maybe one day I will."
"Oh word?"
She folded her eyebrows.
"Whatchu trynna say uncka?"
