Cayden's POV:

We walked down to the prison the next day with Micah to see Malia. Amy stayed close to me. Kelly and Lia stayed upstairs with Quinn and Bobby. Quinn and Bobby have been getting along pretty well. I think they will make pretty good friends. Soon, we reached the prison. "So your back, huh?" Malia asked in her taunting voice. Micah had stopped short in his tracks. "M-Malia..? I-is that you??" he stared at her, tears threatening to come. "M-Micah?!" Malia for the first time, was speechless. "Sissie!!" Micah ran over to her, tears rolling down his cheeks. "What happened to you?!" he asked. "You happened. You left Genova and me. We promised we'd never leave each other! But yet, you did!" Malia was angry. "Malia, listen to me. I-" "No! I won't listen! You abandoned us! You are the worst brother in the world! I hate you! I wish you'd never been born!" Malia screamed. But, tears were rolling down her cheeks. It was like..I don't know. But..I think deep down, she's happy to see him again. And still loves him. "Micah, don't let her words get to you. She's just angry." I whispered to him. He took a deep breath and looked his now wicked sister in the eye and said, "Malia, I never meant to leave you and Gen. I don't remember everything that happened. But I remember hiking with you, Gen, mom, and dad. Then..I remember a storm. The next thing I remember is looking for you guys. But I couldn't find you. I tried and tried. But, the only person I found was another camper. He took me to an orphanage. I was later adopted by a family who already had a son. Soon though, we were both abandoned. The alpha of this pack allowed us to stay. MayMay, please believe me...I really never meant to leave. I really did try to find you!" Micah explained. Malia looked at him, her eyes softer than they had ever been. "Is this...the truth..Micah?" she asked, a little hesitant. Micah nodded. "MayMay, may the Moon Goddess strike me down dead right here and now if I'm lying! You here that, Moon Goddess?! If I'm lying, take me now!" We waited but nothing happened. We were pretty certain that if he was lying, he would've been struck down. "Y-your telling the truth, aren't you?" Malia asked. "Yes, sis. I am. Just like when we were little. I would never lie to you. I know you may never forgive me..But I will still love you, sister." Malia didn't say anything for a long time. But, finally she said, "I-I believe you..brother. I-I forgive you." She smiled a real smile for the first time. She and Micah hugged each other as best they could with one of them behind bars. "Alex, could you let her out for at least a few minutes? I think she and Micah would like to hug each other for real." Amy asked. I will never know, how she got to be so special. If I didn't know any better, I'd say she trusted this lunatic of a woman! Alex growled but finally agreed. Amy led Malia up the stairs and to our surprise, Lia and Kelly weren't afraid of her. Maybe because she seemed nicer and because Amy explained that she....trusted her and what had happened. The three led Malia up the stairs and were gone for half an hour! "What are they doing up there?!" Flint exclaimed. "I wish I knew." I remarked. Finally, they came down. "Finally! Wait..Is that..Malia?!" Flint exclaimed. We stared at the four girls coming down the stairs. Malia looked...different. Like, she'd bathed and changed her clothes. She looked a lot nicer and prettier. Don't even think about me cheating on Amy with her though! "What do you guys think of the new Malia?" Amy asked, as Kelly and Lia smiled proudly. "Wow. She looks like a whole other person! It looks great!" Zack stated. "Malia, you look really nice. You look just the way I always pictured you'd be," Micah smiled. "Thanks, Mikey." Malia smiled. For the first time, I could feel something totally different about her. Her presence felt softer, calmer, and more caring. It felt..nicer. Her brother really changed her. I used to feel her anger whenever I was around her, but now, I don't feel any. Instead, I feel love. "Mikey, do you know where...Genova is?" Malia asked. Micah hesitated. Before he could answer, Alex responded. "Malia, she has taken the side of a pack that wants to destroy us. They want Amy. Genova is helping them." "I see...When we lost Micah, we both changed. It effected her the most. We both decided to make others feel the pain we felt. I guess we both became..dark witches. But Genova was the darkest. Even if we find her and manage to speak to her, she won't listen and accept it so easily. It was like...I could feel her heart shatter. Like all the love and light had gone out of her. But somehow, deep down, I still had some light and love. I just ignored it all these years. Luna, Alpha, Beta, Miss Lia, I am sorry for all I have done. I accept what further punishment you may have." Malia looked down at the floor, sadly. Alex and Kelly looked at each other. Finally Alex looked at her and said, "We still need some time to think it over. It is too soon for us to really know and understand that you have really changed. I hope you understand." She nodded. "I understand, Alpha." I have never heard her speak with so much respect towards him! I'm starting to think she has changed. "We would, however, appreciate your help in this battle. Though, we will understand if you refuse since we would be battling your own sister." Alex declared. "I shall do my best. I believe deep, deep down Gen still has some light and love left in her. It's just..buried really deep under a lot of hurt and anger." Malia said. "Perhaps, there is still hope for her. If we can just talk to her..maybe she'll change. Though I doubt it, it's still a possibility." I wasn't really sure it was possible. I told that to Amy as we prepared to go to bed that night. "Cayden, I know it may be a little hard to comprehend. But I believe Malia has changed. And..perhaps there is still hope for her sister. We just need to have faith. Have hope. Like you told me the yesterday with Bobby." She told me. "Isn't that a little..different?" I asked. "Perhaps. If a person like her holds on to her anger and never lets forgiveness into her life..it'll eventually destroy her. Not many know this. It may sound different. But the same answer applies to both questions. The question of Bobby, and that of Genova." she explained. "I understand, I think. In a way..we might be wondering if everything between them will be ok. If she'll be ok. Who knows?! She could snap and fly off the handle when she sees Micah and they try to talk to her!" I exclaimed. My mate smiled and patted my back. "Calm down, Cayden. Let's just go to sleep and worry about everything tomorrow." she gave me a kiss in the forehead and said goodnight. "I love you, Cayden." she smiled lovingly. "I love you too, my angel.." I said, staring into her eyes. "Angel..I like that nickname." Amy said with her loving, angelic smile. We bid each other good night and went to bed. I was awake for a little while, wondering and worrying about some things. For one thing, Amy's birthday. It was the day after tomorrow. And, I was thinking about Malia, Genova, and Micah. And little Bobby. Malia hasn't met Bobby. I hoped nothing would change in her new behavior. Amy is probably right. Plus, talking worked with Malia. It'll probably work with Genova. It'll just take longer..Right?
