Chapter 23

Cayden's POV:

I spent a couple months practically chained to my bed, except when I had an appointment with the doctor. Lia was doing well with her baby. Well, finally, I had enough strength to have our ceremony. Amy and I planned and planned. We were so excited! Kelly, Lia, Genova, and Malia were head-over heels excited! While Zack, Alex, Micah, Saul-or Herold, and I decorated the pack house and garden, the girls went shopping for a dress. I don't know who's more excited for this wedding. Me and Amy, or the girls! "I do kinda wish Casper could be here to watch me get married.." I said to Flint. "I know..maybe someday we'll see him again. And maybe, it won't be so....painful. If you get my drift.." he stated. I smiled. Maybe..For now, I had a wedding to prepare for. It took about two weeks to prepare everything. We already knew what we wanted and had all our plans ready to be put into action. I just had to figure out where e were gonna get the suits. "Why can't I just wear what I have?" Zack complained. "Because an old sweat shirt and jeans is not something I want my best man to be wearing, Zack." I told him. Alex, Herold, and Micah stood by watching, smirks on their faces. "How about we try the mall? They must have suits there." Alex suggested. "Yea, ok. Let's try there," I nodded. When we were done decorating, we got into the car and drove off. We found some nice ones. They were perfect! Not even that expensive either. "Do I really have to wear this? I'm sure I can find something this color in my closet!" Zack groaned, as he struggled to tie his light blue tie. "I don't think a navy blue sweat shirt would even look good on you." Herold stated, with his hands in his pockets. "What do you guys think? We already know what Zack thinks." I asked. "I think these suits are great. I love the tie, too." Micah replied. "Yea! I think, we have found the perfect suits." Alex smiled proudly. I nodded. "Ok, then. Let's check out!"

*Five days later-Wedding day!*

Alex's POV:

I stood in my spot while the music played and Cayden stood beside me in his spot. "Alex, I have a special surprise for Amy after our vows." he whispered. "Alright, Cayden. Can't wait to find out what it is," I replied. Just then, Quinn, who looked very pretty in her little flower girl dress, came walking up behind Bobby, the ring bearer.

Just then, the wedding march began to play. Everyone stood up and Amy came walking slowly down the aisle. I glanced at Cayden, who's eyes were popping out of his sockets. I smiled. She did indeed look stunning.

When she got up there, I made an introduction. "Fellow pack members, we are here on this most joyous day, to celebrate the union of Gamma Cayden Jacobs and his mate, Amy Lauren. It fills me with joy, to know and see, my best friend and Gamma, who had given up long ago searching for his other half, has finally found it." I looked from Amy to Cayden with a smile. "Cayden, please repeat after me. I, Cayden Jacobs, do take you, Amy Lauren to be my mate." he smiled as he repeated those words. "I promise to love you, cherish you, and protect you to the best of my ability, until death do us part." "I promise to love you, cherish you, and protect you to the best of my ability, until death do us part." I nodded slightly and turned to Amy. "Amy, please repeat after me. I, Amy Lauren, do take you Cayden Jacobs to be my mate." "I, Amy Lauren, take you Cayden Jacobs to be my mate." Amy said with a smile. "I promise to love you, honor you, and cherish you, until death do us part." Amy repeated those words with all her heart. "May I have the rings, please?" Bobby handed us the rings and they put them on each other. "Then, as Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack, I now pronounce you, man and wife. You may kiss the bride." I said with a smile as I watched Amy and Cayden kiss. I could remember when that was me and Kelly. Oh what wonderful memories..."And now, Gamma Cayden has something special for his mate." I announced. Cayden took a microphone from Herold. Cayden held it up to his mouth and said, "Amy, I have prepared this special song for you. It describes you and me..and how you make me feel when we're together." And with that, Cayden began to sing. It was so sweet, and romantic..They really love each other a lot..Amy had tears in her eyes as she listened and smiled. After he was done, he gave the microphone to Herold and he and Amy hugged tightly. After the ceremony, we had a small meal and wedding cake. I have to admit, it was pretty tasty and, it was a pretty cake.

After we had cake, we all gathered outside the tent we had set up for the reception. Amy and Cayden danced their couple dance. The song was called "Beautiful in White." I actually had that song at my Alpha ceremony. I went over to Kelly and bowed. "May I have this dance, M'lady?" I asked. She giggled. "You may." I took her hand and we danced. Soon, Zack and Lia joined us. Then, guess who? Bobby and Quinn! They looked so plain adorable! Later that evening, after everyone had gone back to their homes, Kelly and I were sitting on the couch in the living room. Quinn and Bobby were already asleep. Cayden and Amy were upstairs. Zack and Lia were in the kitchen. Lia was probably trying to get Zack to let her have....Macaroni and cheese with pickles in it...and...hot sauce...I know, it's gross and I feel like throwing up. Anyway, Kelly sighed happily. "Y'know, Alex, this was a wonderful day." I nodded in agreement. "Yes, Kelly. It certainly was a day to remember.."
