Chapter 15.

Dear Diary (its January 3rd, around 11:00am),

Well the house is packed up... The girls are coming over soon to say goodbye. Ive loved it here and Id never thought Id say this about anywhere but its actually crazier here than in Mystic Falls! I was dreading moving here but Im kind of glad I did... Spencer, Hanna and Emily said they would visit me. And Toby too! Turns out he's not a bad guy at all! So glad because it would be a waste of a hot guy. Ha-ha. I feel a little sad to be going now... Its strange... Ive enjoyed myself but I still feel like Im going to be leaving part of me behind if I go... But if I stay then I lose Damon which is not an option... It doesnt really matter. Besides Im going HOME anyway! I cant wait to see the 'Welcome To Mystic Falls' sign because this time I know Im not going anywhere! Well I should probably go... Pack up the rest of my things... And just think! We'll be home before we know it old friend.

I closed over my diary and looked around the room. Id came to like this place... Then I looked out of the window and to Kol/Klaus' house. I hadnt seen him/them since the dinner party. Its strange how Klaus could even of be capable of love huh? I mean you wouldnt expect a big bad hybrid to ever even be good enough at acting to make something think he loved them. Id often wondered if it wasnt Klaus from the beginning and maybe he took over Kol's body after we met... Its possible right? Could just of been wishful thinking though...

I heard a car pull up in the drive which could have only meant one thing... My friends! I ran downstairs and was immediately pulled into a four way hug. "Oh Marissa...", Emily sobbed. I squeezed her tighter, begging her not to cry because I would end up crying if she didnt! "We got you something", Hanna smiled once we had pulled out of our tangled embrace.

"Aw! You really didnt have to!", I gave a teary smile to them.

"Yea we did! If it wasnt for you we would have never gotten through these last few months what with Alison", Spencer cried.

"And Aria", Hanna mumbled, "Here". She handed me a small black box. I thanked all of them and then opened it. It was a charm for a bracelet. The charm was a small pink rose, covered in diamonds. "We saw your bracelet with the crow on it and Emily suggested we got you a charm... Also its a rose for Rosewood... Obviously", Spencer explained, pointing at my wrist. I looked at the bracelet that Damon had given me and smiled at the memory of that day... "Thank you", I cried and pulled them into a hug again. Emily clipped on the charm for me and they let me go to my car. "You ready?", my dad asked from bedide me. "Im more than ready", I smiled shyly. We waved at the girls as we drove off. And where were we going you might be asking? HOME!

The first 3 hours of the journey went by quickly. We stopped at service stations now and again to use the bathroom though. "Right... You just go in and get our room key and I'll worry about the bags", my father smiled. I nodded and went obediantly inside. "Welcome to the LostWoods Resort", the man smiled once he had handed me our key. I thanked him and walked along to our room. The last time I stayed here I wanted nothing more than to turn back... And now all I want is to keep going...

The following morning we packed up our things again and hit the road. This half of the journey didnt go as quickly as Id hoped though. I drove carefully and concentrated on the road. I was thankful that my dad didnt say much because I was so tired that it would be way to easy to distract me. "Here it is!", dad cheered, "Welcome To Mystic Falls. Have A Nice Visit... Welcome home sweetheart!". I squealed excitedly. We were finally here! After all this time! We're home!!!
