We arrived home, and he walked me back to my room. "Ah, dinner should be soon, but that was nice, right?" He grinned as I nodded my head.
"Is your eye better now..?" I slowly asked, feeling embarrassed that I accidentally hurt him, but that was selfish of me to be embarrassed for myself.
"Yep, I can see your pretty face perfectly fine again!" He laughed at me as I blushed a bit from the compliment. I thought I was getting used to the compliments from the Madrigals and I blushed less, but I guess I was wrong...
"Hey, are you blushing because I'm just that cool, or just that handsome?" He laughed at me, flexing his twig arms.
"Mhm, sure... I just uhm.. I'm not used to receiving compliments so frequently from anyone.." I sighed as I looked back into my room, "See you during dinner, though!" I turned my head to face him one more time, smiling at him.
Closing my door, I rushed under my bed to find the materials for Camilo's ruana, I need to finish it before next week.
I quickly changed my wet dress and wore a shorter one so it would be easier to work.
Quickly getting to work, many ideas for the full thing popped in my mind because I was now in a good moon again.

Eventually, dinner time arrived and I quickly heard Pepa call from my door to come down. I was almost finished with the ruana, too!
Walking down, I noticed Antonio silently crying, so I went up to ask what's wrong.
"Hey, Antonio... What's up?" I question, he quickly looks up at me.
"O-one of my animals... won't wake up!" He cried louder, so I followed him into his room.
What should I tell him if it's dead..?
"Right here... It's one of the toucans!" He pointed before digging his head into me, I hug him in return.
I closer observed, and noticed that it was still breathing.
Good.
"Y'know what I think?" Antonio stopped hugging me and looked up to my face. "I think the birdie may just be really tired, it could've flew too much!" I smiled at him, feeling more confident now that I'm calming the young boy down.
"Ohh.. should I let her rest?" I nod my head before remembering the time.
"We should go now, the family will be wondering where you are!" I smiled the best I could, he looked very relieved.
This is the cutest kid I've ever met.
Within two minutes, we arrived in the eating area, and I held Antonio's hand until I walked him to his seat before I headed to get my own food.
I grabbed a small amount before sitting next to Dolores. She brought her head close to mine to whisper, "Thank you, is his bird really fine?"
"Yes, it really was just sleeping." I lightly smiled at her before watching Abuela start a speech.
"I know it must be quite hard for Rosa, but just trust that the Madrigals will try their hardest to keep you happy without your brother here." Abuela lightly smiled at me, I nodded in return.
