I got to work on Tía Pepa's dress the next day, and I had Miguel prepare Camilo's ruana materials. "Shouldn't you charge them for these? You want to make as much money for Tía Maria as you can here..." Miguel sighed as he watched me sew a bit.
"They took us in while we're here, thanks to whatever relation the Madrigals have with Mamí and Papí. It's the least I could do to thank them... Please start sorting those." I pointed at a mess of fabrics on a desk in the room. Miguel rolled his eyes before sitting down at the desk.
"When I finish with this, I'm going out with Luisa, she offered to show me around the village a bit." I continued working, not saying a word. I really enjoy making dresses. When I make them, I am hyper focused and don't prefer taking breaks. "Just don't overwork yourself in Encanto, please. You always do that in our village, and you get sick along with Tía."
"Don't worry, hermano, I'll be fine. Even this room is in better working condition than at home." I smiled at him before accidentally nicking my finger with the needle, wincing a bit, but Miguel doesn't notice.
I slip a bandaid on before a knock at the door is heard, "Come in." Miguel continues sorting the fabrics.
"Hola." Dolores smiles as she walks to my area on the floor that I was working at. "I wanted to see how Mama's dress was going so far!" I looked up at her before slightly smiling.
"It's good... When I finish I will start Camilo's ruana." I know Dolores would know what I'm talking about since she's the child with super hearing.
"Ah, that's right, seems he's pretty excited to get a new ruana, mm!" My face flushes a bit, I love when I get even the slightest bit of praise, even if it's not intended to be. "Well I just wanted to check, I'll be off."
Miguel left as soon as he finished sorting fabrics, I was still focused on the dress. I'm a very quick worker, so in the few hours that I was working on the whole dress, I was already far past halfway through. Maybe that's my gift hah. "Phew, I think it's about time I stop for today, It's getting late, and dinner is soon." I couldn't believe our second day here is already almost over.

"Maybe I could take myself for a little tour around town while I wait..." I spoke to myself when I finished cleaning up.
"Or maybe I could help." I looked up to see the smirk of none other than Camilo Madrigal. I sighed before standing up.
"I suppose.. thank you." I slowly said, not looking him in the eyes.
"Great, let's go then!" He grabbed my wrist, not allowing me to change my outfit. I had a long, pink skirt that fell just above my ankles, and a loose, white blouse that was tucked in. I had a pearl necklace and a big, white belt on.
"U-uhm.. Where are we going?" I asked as he pulled me out of the front doors of casita. I'm so much better at talking to people by themselves, but still not the best when it's people I'm not close to. Camilo let go of my wrist and slowed his pace.
"I don't know yet, but I'll tell you about stuff around town when we see said stuff." He smiled at me as I looked at his feet, not wanting to be around a huge crowd of people. Although, I suppose that was my initial plan... So I'll just go along with it.
Camilo showed me around town, and I bumped into Miguel and Luisa once or twice during the tour.

"How was that, mí amiga?" Camilo smirked while we entered casita again, he seemed pleased with himself.
"I uh.. I enjoyed it." I quickly told him, looking at the kitchen where Julieta was cooking. It smelled delicious, and my finger still had the cut on it, but I resisted my temptations and headed back to my room. Camilo followed me, and watched as I started to continue his mother's dress before getting bored and leaving.
