Chapter 06

      Revivals become Best friends part one

Normal pov 

The mobian hero was heading back home after a surprising morning with the black hedgehog. His head lowered down as he was feeling lost in thought, thinking about what occurred with the ultimate lifeform himself. This was one of the moments he was stunned by the black hedgehog's cooperation, but also what surprised him the most was that he was calm with him without starting a fight. Did he take this agreement seriously?Or was this a trick? No it couldn't be.

"Wow, it actually worked out better than I thought it would be." He said to himself as he was remembering what happened this morning.

Sonic pov

Flashback 

8:47am

I was having trouble sleeping that night after Faker, I mean Shadow. About our conversation yesterday, I was thinking pretty hard, feeling a bit nervous if Shadow was willing to go through with this agreement. I felt so discouraged about what his reaction would be, was this really the right thing to do?

Not getting enough sleep with an all night thinking session. I woke up a bit early, making myself some breakfast and then went out on my daily run. Hoping all my thoughts and discouragement will go away.

I always did love running in the morning around Morbius. It was as though I was the speed of light, I took another turn when I passed by the oak tree where I met Shadow yesterday.

Stopping at my tracks, I turned back and walked towards the dark brown tree. It was the same tree from my dream, that Shadow so happened to be here watching the scenery. You got to admit, it was a beautiful sight. This still made no sense to me, It still has to be a coincidence. That crazy old lady must have been pulling my leg, there's no way she was truly right.

 I mean who can even predict the future anyways, it has to be a crazy coincidence. It just has to be it.

"It just has to be," I whispered to myself, still trying to figure out a logical explanation for this old lady's trickery. I refuse to believe that this old woman was able to see into the future.

Suddenly I heard footsteps coming from behind me. It was Shadow, he was in his leather jacket and dressed kinda cool and also smelled kinda nice, this made me smile for some reason. Wait what? Why? 

Breaking out of my thoughts I greeted the Faker, I mean Shadow. This is gonna take some getting used too.

"Hey Shadow" I said as I stared at him and waved, I wondered if he'd wave back. Here comes my discouragement deep breathes Sonic you got this.

"Hi Blue" He replied as he waved back, I guess he waved after all, we both stood there in silence as Shadow looked down.

"I wonder if he made his decision, I better ask.

"I thought to myself as I looked down as well and rubbed the back of my neck.

"Sooo ummm….what's your decision Shadow? Have you thought about what I said?" I finally asked him, trying to be brave. Come on Sonic it's okay. You got this.

  He looked at me but didn't say anything. Was this a no? Maybe this was rushing too fast. Maybe this was a mistake. It's okay it wasn't meant to be. So much for what Amy and Tails told me. That's good right? This is good right?...... Then why do I feel disappointed? I should be okay with this right?

"I'm guessing that's a no huh?" I asked as I turned my head from him, not wanting to show my disappointment. I should head home...

"I have thought about what you said yesterday about us becoming friends" I heard him say as my green eyes widened and I looked back at him almost completely shocked.
