Normal pov
After it had been a month since the two male hedgehogs last spoke. The blue hedgehog laid on his bed upside down looking up at the ceiling.
He sighed as glanced at his window, he could hear the birds chirping.
Blinking twice his eyes began to flutter when tears started to fall down his cheeks. He couldn't contain his emotions anymore, it was killing him inside. He started to let it out by silently crying to himself. Overthinking, feeling his chest hurt inside. But only one thing he kept asking himself. What went wrong between the two of them? Why was he being shut out?
Staying to himself shut in his room, not even going out to hang out with Amy or Tails. Chaos, not even any of his closest friends. They could try to invite him to little hangouts, but he would always decline.
This worried them, they had never seen the blue hedgehog so depressed in their lives. He was always so upbeat, happy and free. Even at his downest moments he tried to have a positive attitude, even for them. Whatever had happened to the blue hero, was his breaking point.
His brother tried everything to cheer him up as best as he could. He started off making a full plate of chili dogs, hoping the smell of his favorite food would cheer him up. But boy was the orange two tailed fox was wrong.
He refused them. This was shocking even to Amy after her dear friend told her about how the blue hedgehog was acting.
Also she came with a homemade baked cake with blue frosting. She hadn't baked him any goodies in so long. Hoping this would cheer him up she gently knocked on his door.
"Sonic, it's Amy. I brought you a cake. I know I said I would make you your own a while back. So I figured I would bring it to you." She said softly as she got no reply. She turned to see Tails watching in the hallways as his ears dropped. He didn't know what to do.
Amy sighed as she and the orange two tailed fox went down stairs, hoping that with sometime. The blue hedgehog would come out of his room.

Sonic pov
It was 4:30pm in the afternoon, I could hear Amy and Tails downstairs talking. I sighed as I rolled over on my stomach to change the position I was laying on my bed.
I know they were trying to help me, but I just couldn't help but feel so numb inside. After a few days of crying I felt my chest hurt, it had been a month since I heard from that jerk. How could he do this to me? Leaving me with a reply? I knew he was looking at the texts because the text chat always told me he was looking at them.
But I never got an answer from him, not even from my calls. I would have understood if it was a G.U.N he couldn't get out of but this was ridiculous. This almost didn't seem anything like him. This was a side of him I hadn't seen in so long, was it over between us?
I honestly feel stupid, if it was true. I don't know why I just had so many mixed emotions inside.
I just kelting wondering and overthinking this, I shouldn't be this upset about it and move on. Yeah sure no problem. But this time it was far different.
My phone beeped as I jolted up and looked at my screen. I jumped off the bed as I grabbed my phone with both hands. It was a notification. From Shadow.

Hey sorry for the late reply, I've just been busy with G.U.N. I do need to talk to you as well. Let's meet at the meeting point in an hour.
I sighed as my eyes started to water, no Sonic don't cry. He replied, that must be a good sign. So he was working too much and didn't have time. That's okay, I'm just glad he wasn't ignoring me on purpose.
