Sonic tossed and turned in his bed as he was having trouble sleeping. He sighed to himself as he sat up in his bed and put on his shoes.
Going to his dark brown wooden dresser he pulled out a black hoodie from the drawer. This was just right for him, the mood he was in it was almost the best choice at this moment. He climbed out of his window jumping down on the ground next to the front door of his house, he carefully tip toes away from his home as he walked down the bath to the left side of his home, deciding to go for a walk into downtown Metropolis.

Passing by some young teen mobians as some of them were out partying and doing normal teenagers stuff. He really didn't care as he walked away from the mobians walking by him. He remembered he used to just like them when he would go out with his brother Manic. Now his brother and sister were busy with their band, Sonic was done with his hero business after Eggman retired. The blue blur was done. He sighed as he took a few steps and as some teens ran by and giggled as they went off somewhere.
Some of the citizens were starting to grow low as some went home for the night, it was about that time for others. But he knew he was getting closer to the deep side of the city. It was noticeable.
Sonic let himself drown into his thoughts in the meantime, he sighed again as he started to think about what had happened yesterday. Thinking about how everything fell apart between him and the black hedgehog.
He kicked a soda can as it tumbled a few inches away from. Sighing to himself he kicked again as he started to play with it. Kicking it once again every step he took.
Flashback
"I'm saying it's over....... Blue......from now on the truce is over..... we are done" Shadow said coldly as he turned his back toward the blue hedgehog who was beginning to tear up. Shadow began to walk a few steps forward as he stopped.
"We are rivals again" Shadow said as he began to walk away from the blue hedgehog. Sonic started shaking uncontrollably as he felt his heart break.
End of flashback
"Shadow......you idiot...." He thought to himself as he kicked the can again. Only this time a bit harder. The blue hedgehog looked up in the night sky as he felt like he was as blue as his fur. Emotionally.
He stopped walking as when suddenly he heard some voices. It was not that far from where he was in the city. He heard mumbling of voices as he got closer to the sound, hiis ears went up as he got closer to the voices as it got louder. Loud enough for him to hear clearly.
