Shadow pov

Tossing in my bed, I didn't want to even get up. After all that's happened I couldn't believe I was gonna say this but I rather stay in bed all day. What's the point of  getting up, when I gotta face that stupid bat. What am I going to do? Just when I was about to snuggle into my pillow. I woke up to my phone vibrating on my nightstand, it was a text from Sonic.

He texted me?.....

Hey, Meet me at the meeting point. There's something we have to talk about….

I blinked twice as I yawned as I sat up in my bed, as the black satin sheets fell off me. Rubbing my eyes trying to wake up, I yawned again. 

I wondered what he meant by that? Did he find out about that stupid rumor? Well of course he did that stupid bat posted it on MobianBook. Now I got leeches trying to bug me on missions trying to ask me about our relationship together. I don't even bother with stupid gossip. It should never be their concern. Although the bat loves the attention, she stands by and encourages the gossip. The only thing I'm glad she hasn't mentioned is the other big news…..I still can't believe it. I sat there as I looked outside my window, sighing as I touched my heart. I felt it beat rapidly. I was feeling nervous, but almost at ease to see him again.

Maybe we should meet up, it's time we do talk. Especially about the "big news". I couldn't be a coward about this anymore. Especially this. I needed to man up. We have to meet again.

I sighed as I texted him back.

I replied as I sent in the text. Getting up I sighed as I felt horrible inside. Feeling my stomach have butterflies inside, mentally I wasn't prepared for what was about to happen. But this had to be dealt with, there was no more hiding. Especially this. I got out of the cover's, put on my black robe and stood by the window as I watched a bird perch on the tree in front of my bedroom window.

He finally texted me back. Maybe I can finally tell him what I learned. I just hope he will believe me.

I got up out of my race car bed, I stretched my arms as I heard my back pop. I didn't sleep well at all last night. All I could think about was what I was gonna tell Shadz. Most of all how angry I was about Rouge using my best friend that way. It was pretty low even for her. Amy may have had a fangirl obsession over me but she had never pulled anything as despicable as this. You're supposed to love your partner, not treat them as a play thing. Amy had always told me that. I remembered something she had told me, to follow my heart. I touched my chest as I once again felt my chest hair. It wasn't as good as Shadows but I took Ames' advice. I smiled to myself as I felt it beat rapidly as my thoughts drowned on him. The first time we hung out, when we played Mobian Hero together, our lesson and then there was the big date that wasn't announced. Twinkle Park. The place that started it all. I sighed as I closed my eyes and opened them smiling. I felt my confidence rise up. I was ready to see him. I ran into my bathroom as I started to take a shower.
