      Revivals become Best friends part two

Blaze took two menus from the side of the counter by the cashier desk and led the two male hedgehogs to their table, as she was leading them to an open table.  A morbian boy went up to a jukebox standing in front of it, taking out a quarter from his pocket. He put it in the machine, pressed one of the buttons to choose a song, and pressed the green play button.

(The boy smiles as he runs back to his table to his grandparents (play song)"Day After Day" by Badfinger plays, As the three morbians approach the table. Blaze gestured the two males to the open table)

They both sat down facing each other, the purple female cat placed the menus in front of them. The black and blue hedgehog looked at each other and down at the menus.

" Well gentleman, what would you like to start off with?" Blaze asked as she taped the notepad.

Shadow and Sonic both took their menus in front of them as they both thought about what they wanted. 

"If I knew we were gonna go out to eat together, I would have skipped breakfast" Sonic thought to himself as he took a quick glance at the black hedgehog who was deep in thought looking into his menu.

"I hope I didn't forget to tell blue about skipping breakfast especially since I'm buying for both of us" Shadow thought to himself as he was looking at the coffee selections.

"I'll have a cup of coffee, black please….and umm…..a slice of chocolate cake." Shadow said as he faced the menu down. Sonic made a surprised face as he thought the ultimate lifeform didn't eat. Was he doing this for his sake?For their little hang out?

"Good choice" Blaze replied as she looked at the blue hedgehog, who was looking at his menu once again feeling a bit nervous.

" I will…….have a strawberry cheesecake with a glass of milk…..please" Sonic said as he placed the menu on top of Shadows and handed them to Blaze who nodded her head.

"Very well blue, I will be back with both of your orders" she replied as she took the menus and walked off.

Shadow glanced at Sonic who gave him a look, Sonic looked side to side as he was wondering why the black hedgehog was looking at him.

"What?" Sonic whispered as he was confused, the black hedgehog raised a brow but looked very calm.

"Since when do you eat strawberry cheesecake? Isn't that Roses favorite dessert?" Shadow asked bluntly, the blue hedgehog smiled nervously.

"Well I guess you could say, I started to find cheesecake comforting." Sonic replied as he started playing with his thumbs. The blue hedgehog was trying to hide his blush, with the song playing on the jukebox. He felt like it was a sign but shrugged it off as he was to embarrassed to think about it anymore.

Shadow noticed the blue acting strange as they sat in front of each other. He sighed to himself as he knew the blue hero was beginning to feel nervous, he wasn't the only one even the ultimate lifeform was nervous just being here with him. 

Sonic the hedgehog, hero of Mobius. Then there was him, Top agent at G.U.N Shadow the hedgehog. Tough and unfeeling so everyone sees him to be, but that was put aside because this was a truce.

This was their first time hanging out as equals instead of rivals.

Both the blue and black hedgehog looked down at the table until one of them spoke up to break the silence.

"Blue, you don't have to be nervous about hanging out with me. Just act like how you always are with your own friends, that is what you wanted right? For us to become friends?" Shadow asked as this caught Sonic's attention as his gaze softened.
