Chapter 28

Tails pov

After what I had just found out a couple days ago, I knew I was gonna need some help. I sat with Amy at her place, in the living room. I needed to tell Amy exactly what had happened that day. When I found Sonic crying again. To find out that Shadow and Rouge were the cause was troubling. I sat on Amy's pink couch as she and Blaze were sipping ice tea.

Blaze had stopped by and was there to support us. She was Amy's best friend after all. We all had become friends with the purple cat. I knew Amy still cared for Sonic, even though she said she found her soulmate. I knew she had to know what was going on. I trusted Amy. She trusted Blaze. If she could trust her, then so would I.

We were on suicide watch for Sonic. I had Knuckles watching him from a far. At first Knuckles didn't want to help me, but I programmed a robot to watch the master emerald for him, while I was out at Amy's having a discussion about what happened a couple days after. Why did it have to be secret? Sonic didn't wanna feel like he was being babysat so I had Knuckles watch a nanny cam on his wrist watch which I had placed a tracker and heart monitor. This will tell us if Sonic is heart is racing, meaning we'll know if he tries to commit suicide. We had to get to the bottom of things so we could help him.

"So Rouge flew happily after they fought?" Amy replied bitterly, I could tell she was mad. I couldn't blame her. I was pretty angry when I saw how happy Rouge was when she saw my brother crumble into tears. Shadow I was concerned for. Want the heck he do? Why did Sonic fall to tears? I thought they were friends.

 Amy pov

I knew something was up with this so-called relationship between Rouge and Shadow. A part of me knew that bat had something to do with my friends' relationship. More importantly how she crushed Sonic's chances of telling Shadow how he felt, after what Tails had told me. Shadow told Sonic's something and it made him fall on his knees. This surprised Tails of course, he just though they were going back to the stupid rivalry. But I knew this was more than that much more.

Sonic pov

I sat on my bed as I looked up at the ceiling thinking about yesterday night with that witch. Can't really call her a old lady anymore. She was a real witch, a real witch who casted a spell before my eyes. 

Man, I wished Amy was there. She would have loved to see that. I never knew it was like that.

But I started to remember those aura's the blue one was supposed to be me. While the red aura was Shadow. We knew that. The white aura was never there, I knew who that uara was supposed to be. Rouge. It separated our aura's apart, that must mean what's going on now. So how do I get Rouge away from Shadow. I'm just back to square one.

Shadow pov

While I was at the kitchen table drinking my coffee, that bat had stepped into the kitchen.

"I'm off to go shopping Shady, gonna bed to buy some stuff for the little one." Rouge said as she smirked and turned her back to walk away. I sighed as I nodded my head. I heard the front door open as it locked by itself. Sighing again I put my hand on my face as I started shaking my head.

I still couldn't believe what I said to him. Why did it have to be this way.

I just can't believe Sonic didn't tell me about his relationship with Rouge, I thought we were best friends. Friends tell each other everything. Why did it have come to this.
