Information
Dryos are highly skittish, often never seen fighting unless its to prevent the death of another comrade which is where they will throw a punch and run trying to lead it away, often lead to death.
Dryos are usually found in large packs due to their small size and low survival rate, if predators approach they scatter to cause confusion and chaos retreating to wooded areas or burrows.
Courtship
The males will begin to try and show off to their favorite member, showing their color by slowly strutting in front of them, if there are multiple males they may also begin bulling each other by screaming (3 call) each other and mock charging, they will not cause each other harm as it will cause weakness with in the colony. The females will then pick her favorite member, it could be by color, strength, or both. She will 2 call the member and take him off to her nesting location.
Solitary
Dryos are often skittish, running at any sight of danger or whatever catches them off guard. If they feel they are in a safe spot they may call out a few times in hopes another Dryo or herbivore will respond to them, if one they will quickly join a herd to gain protection and companionship.
Beginning
Hatchlings are very weak they can barely walk or make noise, they will stay hidden in the nest relying on their mothers warmth and ability to bring them food, and once they reach Juvenile they will begin to pester their parents, they are still weak at this stage and will instinctively retreat into thick bushes or burrow if the colony alerts to danger nearby.
Hierarchy
Children are top otherwise they are all equal.
Pack Mentality
When in a mixed herd Dryos are sometimes loud calling looking for other dryos, especially if looking for a mate. Dryos that are found in large packs will still run from predators that approach them, they scatter to cause confusion and chaos retreating to wooded areas or burrows.
