CHAPTER 32

Chase's PoV

"Cheska! Where's Cheska and Julian!?"

"I don't know, weren't they with you!?"

"Oh god! Take care of these three, I'll look for the other two. They might be loitering around somewhere."

"Be vigilant, Teach. That man and his underlings could still be out there."

"I will."

Naimulat ko ang mga mata ko nang makarinig ng tunog ng mga ibon sa labas ng bintana.

"Hmm..." I moaned as I get up from lying down in my bed.

Again with that dream...

Bumuntong hininga ako at kinusot ang magkabilang mata. It's been a year since the last time I had that dream again. That weird dream whose characters were unknown except Uncle Teach.

When I first had that dream, I thought it was only a weird form of my imaginations, but I experienced that dream again after a year. I thought it was only a coincidence, but it happened again consecutively every year that passed, which made me think that it wasn't just mere coincidental and a form of my imaginations, but rather a scenario that shows me a piece of my life.

I tried asking Uncle Teach about it, but he always laughed at me and said I was only being too suspicious of little things. Tsk, what's with that weird dream anyways?

"I'm tired Chase!" Muttered Cipher while chasing breath. We're inside the stadium and doing a morning jog. Whenever we feel like it, pumupunta kami dito upang mag-jogging.

"Hey, you really should start eating vegetables, your endurance is way too low." Sagot ko sakanya habang patuloy sa pagtakbo.

"No idiot, you just have too much endurance." Maktol niya at tuluyang tumigil sa pagtakbo upang magpahinga. After rounding one more lap, I also decided to take a rest.

"Here." Cipher handed me the water that he got from ministore inside the stadium. Agad ko iyong kinuha at ininom. It's the perfect time to meditate but I can't do it because the place is too crowded and noisy. Isa sa mga requirements sa meditation ay concentration, which means that one should be in a peaceful place.

"Hey Chase, you have fans over there." Turo ni Cipher sa grupo ng mga estudyante na nakaupo sa stair seats habang nakatingin sa direksyon namin.

"Parang nakaupo lang yung tao Cipher, tsk tsk." Saway ko sakanya. Those are just students sitting idly and I don't think it's a good idea to speculate about nonsense stuffs.

"Ewan ko pero ang manhid ko." Tangin saad niya kung kaya't bahagya akong tumawa.

Natigil ang usapan namin ni Cipher nang may lumapit saaming grupo ng mga lalake. They're six in numbers and they seem to be freshmen students like us.

"Wow, look who we have here." Umupo sa tabi namin ang ilan sa kanila at ang iba ay nanatiling nakatayo. Ang dating ay tila ba pinalilibutan nila kami which I don't find it comfortable.

"If it wasn't the super rookie and his little underling." Napatingin ako sa nagsalita. I remember this guy, he's the first students that I've battled with. The one with the ability to enlarge some portions of his body.

Is he here for a rematch? But why are there six of them now?

"What the fuck do you mean by underling? Are you looking for a fight?" Naiinis na wika ni Cipher at itinulak papalayo ang lalakeng nasa tabi niya.
