CHAPTER 9

Chase's PoV

Wait what? Is he serious? Catch him with all we got and he won't use his ability?

"Come on, are you just gonna stand there? Catch me." Muling wika ni Sir Dane at kalmado paring nakatayo. Bawat isa saamin ay mararamdaman mong nagdadalawang isip kung susundin ba namin si Sir o hindi. If you look at it in a student's perspective, it seems like he just want to play tag with us.

"Sir, in what way is playing tag with you related to our subject?" Tanong ni Blue. Napatigil ang bawat isa dahil sa tanong niya. Damn, he's straight forwarded. But I also wanted to ask the same question.

It took Sir Dane few seconds to grasp Blue's question. It seems like he also didn't expect a student to directly question him.

"That's a good question. This activity will help me in evaluating your awakened abilities and measure the level of training I'll have you undergo with." Sagot ni Sir Dane at napatango kami sa isinagot niya.

"Now then, what are we waiting for, let's begin. I'll give a reward to all of you if you manage to touch even a strand of my hair." Dahil sa sinabi ni Sir Dane ay nagkaroon ng interes ang bawat-isa na mag-participate sa activity ni Sir.

Unang kumilos si Reign gamit ang malalaking baging na pinatubo niya muka sa sahig. Sinubukan nitong atakihin si Sir Dane but Sir was able to dodge every attacks she launched.

Ilang segundo ay mga tornadoes naman ang naghabol kay Sir Dane na siya namang kakayahan ni Liam. Sa oras na ito ay limang malalaking tornado ang naghahabol kay Sir Dane but none of it was able to touch Sir. Ang ginagawa lamang niya ay magtalon talon at iwasan ang mga iyon.

Nabigla ako nang makita ko si Clyde na may hawak na napakalaking mace na may kadena at ginagamit niya iyon upang atakehin si Sir Dane. Tumulong na din si Coraline sa pamamagitan ng paggawa ng chain whip.

"H-hey aren't you guys going overboard?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni Trisha dahil sa ginagamit nilang sandata kay Sir Dane.

"Sir isn't even using his awakened ability, how will he survive if those weapons land an attack on him?" Dugtong niya.

"That's fine with me, as I've said, try to catch me with all you have." Sagot ni Sir habang umiiwas sa mga atake ng dalawa. Even though they're working together, none of their attacks was able to touch Sir Dane. I don't know how Sir is doing it, but he's really quick.

Nang macorner na si Sir sa isang sulok ay doon naman umatake si Trisha. Because of him being cornered, I was pretty confident it's his loss, or so I thought.

Akala ko ay nacorner na siya, but I was wrong. Everything went slowmotion as we watched how the shockwaves reach Sir, but long before the waves reach him, he jumped really high that I can't call it a normal jump.

"Blue, should we help out as well?" I asked Blue. He nodded with no hesitations. Sabay kaming tumakbo ni Blue patungo kay Sir Dane habang hinahabol siya ng buong class at sinusubukan siyang atakihin.

Nakita kong nagpakawala si Blue ng maraming kuryente sa kamay niya at sinusubukan niyang tamaan si Sir Dane.

"It's my turn. Come out, bees!" Pagkasabi ko nun ay lumabas sa hangin ang mga bubuyog ko at lumipad ang mga iyon patungo sa direksyon Sir Dane. If he even manage to dodge hundreds of these bees, then he's a monster.

"Chopper and Canine Trio. Help me out." I chanted in the air. Sabay sabay na lumabas sa hangin ang mga guardians ko at lahat sila ay dumiretso patungo kay Sir Dane upang habulin at atakihin siya.

So far, none of us managed to touch him even though all of us are simultaneously attacking him. I thought the bees could atleast distract and touch Sir Dane since there are too many of them, but he was able to escape from them. Damn monster.
