Bree sat at the bathroom vanity in May's villa, watching her in the reflection as she curled her hair. "I'm starting to get butterflies," she murmured. "I never thought that I would ever get married. But when I first met Tony... there was just something about him that drew me in. Even now, I couldn't tell you what it was five years ago, when I first got the job."
"I can imagine he feels the same. No one would have bet that he would someday marry. He sees how special you are though." May told Bree.
A blush filled Bree's cheeks. "If he ever decided to marry in his life, I never thought it would be me, that's for sure," she commented.
"I've always told you that you're special. Now, you can't deny it." May grinned.
Bree chuckled softly. "I still have my doubts sometimes."
"Shall I tell Mr. Stark that you don't feel special?" May chuckled.
"No," Bree laughed. "If you did that, I think he would buy me a planet or something. The man has endless amounts of money and wants to spend it all on me."
"He just needs to find a good balance. Unless I've missed something, you're the first person he's ever been in a relationship with." May pointed out.
"I'm the first person he's made an effort to stay with and be with," Bree said softly. "But I'm happy to be that person. I can only imagine if we have kids."
"I'm sure you will in time. He's good with Peter and seems to enjoy his company well enough." May encouraged.
Bree nodded and smiled at May in the reflection of the mirror. "I think so too."
"I will bring Peter around as I'm able, to give him the experience." May promised.
"I think Tony would like that actually. I think he's become a bit attached to him."
May nodded. "Peter looks up to Mr. Stark. It's been hard raising him alone. He needs a good male role model."
Bree smirked. "You can call him Tony, May. He's family."
"Are you sure he won't mind?" May nervously asked.
"I'm positive. He would tell you himself, but he doesn't like upsetting people," she replied.
May nodded. "He is a lot different in person than how he acts on TV."
Bree nodded and watched as May put down her curling iron and grabbed more pins. "Yes, he does. Tony has a business mode and casual mode."
"How do you want your hair pulled up?" May asked.
"I'm not picky," Bree answered. "As long as it's easy to take back down, I'm happy."
May set the pins down and started to fiddle with Bree's hair, trying to decide how to style it. She finally decided on some elegant twists. "There's only six pins on each side."
"Thank you May. For all of this," Bree murmured. "I'm really happy that you're here."
"I wouldn't miss this for the world." May replied. "I'm so proud of you and happy for you."
Bree blushed and turned to face May when she stepped away. "Thank you."
"Let's finish getting you ready. I hope Peter is doing good at helping Tony get ready." May chuckled.
"Yes, I believe it's make-up, then the dress," Bree said.
"Do you want help with your make-up?" May offered.
Bree smiled. "Sure. I think I brought my make-up bag with me."
"I also have a little bit, depending on what you want." May replied.
