Bree sat in Tony's office and stared at the clock. It had been two hours since Tony had left and she was beginning to get worried. "Jarvis? Is Tony okay?"

"The suit has been badly damaged, but Mr. Stark has survived the battle." Jarvis told Bree.

"Where is he? Can I go to him?" Bree asked as she stood and walked out of the office.

"Do you know where the main reactor is stored? He is there and the scene is secure." Jarvis answered.

"I do," Bree answered as she took the stairs once more. "Can he not be contacted?"

"No he can't. His com was damaged during the battle. I can still read his vitals and I can process what is on the security cameras." Jarvis explained.

"Thank you Jarvis. I will be there soon. It's only a couple blocks away." Bree left the office building and quickly began to jog down the sidewalk, wanting to get to Tony as quickly as she could.

When Bree arrived, Tony was arguing with several men while sitting on the tailgate of an ambulance, insisting that he did not need any medical treatment. He was about to make another snarky comment when he saw Bree over one of the EMT's shoulders causing him to hop up, push one of the men aside and hurry over to her in an awkward walk since half of the suit was still attached. "Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" He asked, taking her into his arms.

Bree buried her head against Tony's chest as she wrapped her arms as tight as she could around his neck. "My wrists are sore, but other than that, I'm okay."

"I thought I had lost you when I found you gone from the house. I knew he had taken you and it-it broke me." Tony whispered, holding her tight.

"I almost lost you," she countered softly. Bree lifted her head and moved to cup his face in her hands while her eyes filled with unshed tears. "I was so scared."

"Everything is going to be fine now. It's over." Tony assured Bree, then kissed her softly. "Do you want to go home?"

"Home... home sounds amazing," Bree answered softly.

"I have someone bringing a car. When we get back, I will need help to change out the reactor in my chest." Tony told Bree.

Bree nodded as she reached up and ran a hand through his hair. "I'll help you."

"Thank you." Tony said. He stole another quick kiss as his car pulled up and the driver got out. He tossed Tony the keys without a word. "Thank you Happy, let's go." Tony told Bree.

When they arrived back at home, Bree followed Tony across the garage and to the lab. "What do you need me to do? Is there another reactor prepared?"

"No, I still only have a prototype. The magnet in this one is too weak, so I need to attach a new one. Once that is done, I will need you to plug it back into my chest." Tony explained to Bree.

Bree nodded and watched as Tony quickly got to work. "Just tell me what to do."

When Tony had the new magnet ready, he laid back on the chair. "I'm going to take the reactor out and attach the new magnet. As soon as I'm done, I need you to put it back in. It attaches at the bottom of the cylinder and will make a click." He told Bree, knowing he had little time once he pulled it out.

"Okay, sounds easy enough." Bree readied her hands and waited for when she would be needed. Once Tony removed the old reactor, he quickly replaced the magnet and handed her the end of the cable. Slowly, Bree reached inside the cylinder until she reached the bottom and felt around for the base.
