Bree got May and Peter tickets to the zoo and sent them with a driver before noon. After that, Bree made herself busy down in the lab by being at a computer and doing as much research as possible to try and help Tony.
"Did you find those files from my dad?" Tony asked Bree, while using a different console to run various outcome simulations.
"Apparently they're owned by a company called SHIELD. I've been emailing back and forth with someone called Coulson," Bree answered. "I'm still talking with the doctor I found too though."
"Coulson? Just bypass them. Jarvis will help you." Tony said, rolling his eyes.
"What's wrong with Coulson?" Bree asked curiously.
"He's overly annoying." Tony answered.
Bree smirked. "When did you meet him?"
"It was a while ago and a very brief meeting. Just long enough for me to know that I don't like him." Tony shrugged.
"Honey, first impressions are the least thing you can go by," she told him.
"I always go by first impressions. I've never had one proven wrong." Tony insisted.
"Okay... what about me then?" Bree teased.
"You made such an impression that you were the only one I called when my world was falling apart." Tony said truthfully.
Bree blushed as she looked back at the computer just as Jarvis beeped overhead. "Sir, and Agent Coulson is here."
"Of course he is. Tell him I'm out." Tony replied.
"Tony," Bree scolded.
"Sir, my protocols are being overridden," Jarvis stated. "Incoming call."
Tony glared at his phone as it began to ring. With a huff of annoyance, he answered. "You've reached the life model decoy of Tony Stark, leave a message."
"Tony, we need to talk to you," Coulson stated.
Meanwhile Bree rolled her eyes. "Tony, honey, answer the poor man."
"I really don't want to." Tony told Bree.
"Why?" Bree asked, ignoring Coulson on the phone.
"I don't want the interruption. The work we're doing is important." Tony pointed out.
Bree asked for the phone and smiled as Tony gave it to her. "I'm sorry Coulson, but Tony would like to not be disturbed."
Coulson's eyes widened. "So, the photos aren't a lie. You do exist."
"Of course she exists." Tony snapped back at Coulson, being protective of Bree.
"I thought it was a publicity stunt," Coulson replied, making Bree roll her eyes.
"I assure you, I'm here and I am married to Tony," she stated, showing off her wedding band set.
"Now do you see why I don't like him?" Tony asked Bree.
"My apologies to the both of you," Coulson said sincerely. "But I do have something Tony might want."
"Fine. What do you have?" Tony asked, not bothering to hide his annoyance.
"Some SHIELD files your father left in our custody," Coulson answered.
Tony rolled his eyes. "Yes, I want those, but I'm minutes away from getting them on my own."
"We have physical copies. There's some video reels too," Coulson added.
"Alright Coulson, what do you want?" Tony asked, knowing he had lost that battle.
