A few months later, Tony walked into the bedroom with a breakfast tray to surprise Bree. They had moved back into the tower and we're finally working on building the nursery next to their bedroom. He set it down on the bedside table, then leaned in to softly kiss Bree to wake her. Now that they were back in the tower, he was able to stock the kitchen with all of her favorites, and everything she had been craving.

Bree murmured in her sleep before blinking her eyes open to see Tony above her. "Hey, sweetheart," she said softly.

"Good morning honey. I have breakfast for us." Tony said softly.

She rolled over to face him, a soft smile on her face. "As long as I can pee first."

"Of course you can. Whatever you want and need, honey." Tony said as he leaned in for another soft kiss. He then carefully helped her sit up, keeping one hand on her swollen belly.

Bree smiled as she stood. "Before long we'll be feeling the little one move around, you know." She turned and walked towards the bathroom.

"How long will it be until we can feel movement? And don't we find out the gender soon?" Tony asked as he moved to sit on the edge of the bed.

"Around six months!" Bree called out from the bathroom. She exited shortly after, rubbing her hands with lotion. "We should be able to see the gender on the next ultrasound."

"Is that scheduled yet? I know we talked about it." Tony said, hoping the appointment had already been made.

"I think Jarvis made it," Bree answered as she sat on the edge of the bed again. "Jarvis? Did you make the ultrasound appointment?"

"Yes, Mrs. Stark. Your appointment is next Wednesday at eleven fifteen." Jarvis answered.

Bree smiled sweetly. "See? Jarvis keeps track of things for me."

"For me too." Tony chuckled happily. He reached over and picked up the plates, handing Bree hers.

She took her plate and leaned back against the headboard, using her belly as a makeshift table. "Having this belly comes in handy sometimes," she chuckled.

"Even the baby is trying to help you and spoil you." Tony chuckled happily.

"I don't know about all of that," Bree laughed. "The little one is just hitching a ride, more or less."

"I don't think so. I think you've both bonded to each other equally." Tony said with a soft smile.

Bree blushed as she ran one hand along the side of her belly. "It still feels surreal sometimes... that I have something that is alive inside of me."

"Not something, honey, someone." Tony corrected as he reached his hand out and put it over hers. "That little someone is our baby."

Her cheeks heated up further as she nodded. It had been hard for her to connect with the little being inside her. It all just felt surreal that she was going to be a mom and have to take care of someone defenseless. "Sorry, Tony."

"Honey, is something bothering you?" Tony asked Bree, feeling a little concerned. "You can talk to me about anything."

"I'm okay," she assured while messing her food around before taking a bite. "It's just hard for me to connect this to reality. That I'm actually going to be a mom."

"Are you having second thoughts?" Tony asked softly.

Bree quickly shook her head. "No, no. Just... cold feet, I guess. I'm scared."

Tony set his plate down and moved to sit beside Bree, wrapping his arm around her. "I'm scared at times too, but you're not alone." He promised her.

She sat her half empty plate on the nightstand before turning to curl up against Tony. "I'm glad that I have you with me."
