Fighting towards their destination, Sanji and Zoro had bruises all over their arms and legs up until entering the closet.
Disappointed that the bottle didn't land on the person he was aiming for, Zoro was already in a bad mood. And it didn't help that the person he was paired with was the one he often bickers with.
The men stood apart from each other, hidden in a corner while staring opposite direction of their faces.
"Why meeeee, I wanted to be partnered with Nami-san or Robin-chan! This is the worst day of my life..." He admitted, bending down to his knees.
"You think you're the only one who has is rough? I was aiming the bottle at Luffy! Your fat ass just had to be taking up the space in between him, didn't you?" Zoro wielded his sword, watching Sanji flying towards him.
Instead of kicking the green haired rebel, Sanji sank to the floor again, banging his fists against the wall.
"NOT FAIR. IT'S NOT FAIR!"
"Tch! Get a grip, loser." Zoro clicked his tongue as their seven minutes started to become an eternity for the two stubborn men.
"Wait..." Stopping his tantrum for a split second, Sanji thought about what Zoro had said before.
"Luffy? Why were you aiming the bottle at him?" He asked. This question made Zoro grow angered.
"Mind your business!"
"Okay." ... A mischievous smirk appeared on Sanji's face, worrying Zoro who backed away from him, ever so slowly.
"HOW TRAGIC," he imitated Zoro's voice in a teasing tone. "I LOST MY CHANCE TO BE LOCKED UP WITH MY HORNY CAPTAIN." He laughed, slapping at his knees.
"At least I get a chance to spin the bottle again, but I doubt you will."
"Oh yeah? Says who, Bachelor." Sanji's eyes widened, seeing a sword being pressed to his neck.
"Says I, the Bachelor who's about to leave you crippled. See how you'll spin the bottle without your arms."
"P-please let me keep those... How will I cook Nami-san and Robin-chan's meals?" He pouted, being released from Zoro's intimidating chokehold.
The Swordsman retreated his sword, looking away from the man with a frustrated look in his eye.
Three minutes had already gone by, yet in their impatient minds that often triggered each other, the time was going by slower than usual.
Zoro was still stood in a corner, staring down at the hardwood floor within the closet. He muttered something underneath his breath that caught Sanji's attention.
"If you want... I could help you get revenge." The blond male suggested, earning Zoro's attention after a while of trying to be noticed by him.
"What's there to be vengeful of?" He responded, watching the curly-browed man grow devious.
"Wouldn't you wanna get Luffy back for what he did with Usopp? Hmm?"
"You're out of your mind if you think I'm moaning like THAT. Besides... They were just joking around." The muscular man insisted to both Sanji, and himself as well.
Truth be told, he didn't want to admit the jealousy he felt. No matter how fake the noises sounded, he couldn't help but to feel envious of Usopp for getting to hear them from the Captain he was secretly in love with.
Having captured his envy, Sanji knew that getting Zoro to do something would be his ticket out of the closet, so he was willing to help him if it meant he could pass the seven minutes faster than they seem.
"Oh, but were they...? Luffy was sitting next to me the entire time, you know." He sighed in a secretive tone of voice, whispering to the older man.
"What makes you say that, Goldilocks." The look on Zoro's face let Sanji know it would change from bad to worse, depending on his answer.
And that's exactly what happened...
"Hey, what did you just say!?" Sanji's head was at risk of being decapitated like before when the explosive man threatened him with his sword again.
"D-d-don't believe me? It's real, I saw it with my own two eyes." He insisted, having no real reason to lie to the Swordsman, not to mention that he wasn't in the best position to do so in the first place.
Unlike before, Zoro didn't put his sword away. He accidentally dropped it to the floor when hearing the unbelievable rumor that the Cook had just shared with him.
"Is this real? Are you sure you saw it?!"
"I swear on my love for All Blue... AND MY NAMI SWAAAA- MMMF-" Placing his hand over Sanji's mouth, the agitated Swordsman reached for the door, swinging it open.
When he walked out with Sanji following behind him, catching his breath, everyone shook their head at them.
"You guys lose! The seven minutes haven't gone by yet... But judging by the way you look, I'm surprised you lasted this long, if I'm honest." Nami spoke, watching the men sit down.
The look on Zoro's face was even more intimidating than before, but he stayed silent, watching as the other crewmates took turns at spinning the bottle.
Luffy looked up, feeling as if a pair of eyes were spying on him. And as a matter of fact, there was.
Staring at him from a few inches away was Zoro, who wore a toxic look on his face, far worse than ever.
"What's with him?" Worry washed over Luffy who sensed something wasn't quite right with the Swordsman.
Does he bump heads often with Sanji? Sure. But that didn't justify the dirty look Zoro was giving Luffy, let alone why he was so noticeably angry at him.
"Why won't he stop looking at me? That's weird..."
