"Where... Are we?" Luffy asked, looking over at Zoro who had landed into a bush, unlike his Captain who had a safer accidental landing.

"Argh- I don't know. My head feels kinda heavy."

"Oh, it's probably because of that Spotted Roroa that's standing on top of it. That's a Kiwi bird, by the way." Luffy's oddly specific answer was strange to Zoro at first.

"Roronoa. The surname is Roronoa." He corrected, feeling something walking around his head.

"Wait a minute..." He poked at a fury, squishy textured thing that appeared to be a live animal stood on his head.

"WHAT ARE YOU?!" The bird immediately flew away after being startled by him, wearing a worried facial expression.

Luffy started to laugh, pointing at Zoro.

"More importantly, how did you know what type of Kiwi that was, Luffy?" Zoro asked, intrigued by how much information his Captain knew on birds.

"My grandpa used to chase me into the jungle all the time when I was a child, so much that I started living in it." His answer was unexpected, but not surprising to Zoro, given that Luffy knows a lot about wildlife and Suburban Jungles.

"That must've been hard for you to endure." His good friend assumed, walking under the heat of the sun beside Luffy.

Pausing to pick up a seashell he found on the sand covered beach, Luffy placed it in his ear, nodding at Zoro.

"Haha, I guess. But it wasn't all that bad." He smiled up at the sky, placing his hands over his hips.

"It was a difficult childhood, but at least I had my brothers back then... Sabo and Ace taught me a lot about how to survive in the wilderness." Sensing a form of nostalgia in his sorrowful gaze, Zoro smiled sympathetically at the younger boy.

Suddenly, he felt Luffy hold something up to his ear.

"Zoro, do you hear the Ocean?" Luffy smiled back, placing a large shell against Zoro's ear, making him giggle.

"Silly," the man chuckled. "You're holding it upside down." He took the shell off of Luffy's hands momentarily, turning it over.

Then he held it up to Luffy's ear, where he was able to hear the relaxing tides that swayed themselves back and forth.

"Nice." Zoro hummed at the boy in response to his unfinished answer.

"It feels nice to hear the waves rushing in... Zoro, wait. I think I'm hearing something else."

"Like what?" The boys grew curious, taking turns at placing the shell against their ears until it became a tug-of-war challenge for them.

"You're not holding it th-e r-ri-ght w-ay!" Latching his hand tighter onto the shell, Zoro got frustrated.

"Z-or-o, g-give- me it!! I found it first!" Sighing in defeat, the man loosened up his grip and the seashell was sent flying against Luffy's ear.

The force of the impact was so powerful, it released a new sound from within the sandy white shell.

"Happy, child?" Zoro rolled his eyes, seeing how immersed in the sound Luffy had become.

"There's something else. A new sound...? Nishishi! It tickles." Awhile after the ticklish sensation faded away, Luffy dropped the shell onto the floor, screaming.

"IT BIT ME!!" He shouted, pointing at the shell with fear.

"A shell doesn't bite, Luffy. You're just imaging things- Huh...?" Having a closer look at the shell, Zoro saw a tiny crab crawling out of it.

He held it in his hand, letting Luffy have a look at it as well.

"Looks like this little guy was the one who pinched your ear." The man chuckled, watching Luffy violently grab onto it.

"YOU LITTLE-"

"HEY, enough! It's a harmless baby crab, Captain." Zoro took the tiny crab away from the angered boy who was trying to throw it against a large rock.

He then released it into the Ocean where it found a cave and hid inside of it before Luffy could go after it.

"WHAT GIVES? I wanted to get revenge, dammit!!" The boy threw a temper tantrum in the middle of the island, kicking his feet in the sand.

"When you finish throwing rocks at the crabs, help me find the others on this Island." Watching his first mate walk ahead of him was nerve wracking for Luffy, so he ran after the man.

"I wonder who we'll find first..."
