Awhile after Luffy walked away from his crewmates, many things went through Zoro's mind during the time his Captain was temporarily absent.
What he would look like.
How ridiculous the outfit was on him.
And why he was taking so much time getting dressed.
"Oi, Luffy! Come out already. Did you back out of the bet or something?" The Swordsman teased from afar while everyone watched with anticipation as the door to Luffy's bedroom slowly opened.
Outside came a completely new person: One that didn't even come close to what Monkey D. Luffy truly looks like.
"WOAAAH!!" Nami and Usopp's eyes widened with glee while they cheered Luffy on.
At first, they thought that he would be rather conservative about his appearance and coward away, but instead, he placed an arm around his waist and started to model in a joking manner.
"Good thing those Newkama people let me keep some of their semi-permanent makeup as a 'goodbye gift'. I never thought I'd ever use it on you, though." Sanji commented while Luffy giggled.
"I'm only doing this once, guys. So TAKE A REAL GOOD LOOK." He shouted, watching as a camera's flash nearly left him blind.
"What the-" The young man squinted his eyes, watching with a blurry sighted vision, the way Nami took photos of him.
"NO PICTURES! NO PICTURES! THIS IS STRICTLY BUSINESS ONLY. You want pictures, you pay!" He groaned with a bittersweet attitude.
"How much for a few private shots, Captain?" Zoro questioned, causing Luffy's cheeks to turn bright red while the makeup stung his face from the embarrassment.
His slim structure had disguised any trace of muscles on the adult teen's body, making him appear feminine from the inside of the maid dress.
"Bare in mind, that I get a fifty percent of what you earn because that outfit was in MY box."
"Yeah, but Barto and Rebecca gave these to me so that money is m-" Nami's fist whacked Luffy hard enough to make him develop a large lump on the corner of his head.
"L-like I said, you can have fifty percent!" He nervously responded, earning a smirk from Zoro.
"Yeah? What services do you offer?" The man daringly asked his Captain, sitting in an inviting position that tempted Luffy to take a seat on his lap, but he restrained himself from doing so, given that him and Zoro were only friends.
Aside from being friends with his first mate, he was also his Captain. A relationship in between them sounded absurd to the younger boy.
"You wouldn't be able to afford them." Luffy smirked, swaying his hips from side to side.
"Woaaah, woaah!! Okay, I think it's time we leave these two alone." Sanji suggested, covering Chopper's eyes.
"I'm going back to my bath..." The youngest took off, running back to the bathroom while Robin followed behind Sanji, giggling silently.
"Remember what I said, Luffy: Fifty percent. Ah, sorry! I meant... Lucy." Nami burst out laughing, running out onto the deck to tell the rest of the Strawhats all about Luffy and Zoro's bet.
"Lucy is too manly to be a girl's name! It's the one I used at the stadium in Dressrosa, there's no way it's a girly name!" Luffy growled, feeling offended.
Just then, the Swordsman he was left alone with, took this time to comment something, regarding that matter.
"You're right, that's why you need a new name." Luffy raised an eyebrow at the older man who was still sat on the couch in a calm state.
"What're you talking about? My name's Luffy. Monkey D. Luffy!"
"Not right now it isn't." Zoro stated in a dominant tone of voice, leaving the young man to question him.
"I... Don't understand you." The look of confusion that was set on Luffy's eyes was appealing to his first mate as he called the brunette boy over towards him, feeling in control.
"Come closer." The colorful haired male carefully viewed every detail on the boy's dainty body, the closer he approached him.
"As long as you're in this outfit, you are no longer Luffy. That name doesn't suit you while wearing such refined clothing." He declared, earning an eye roll from the Captain.
"If you wanna change my name, I gotta charge you for it. And I should warn you: My services don't come cheap." The boy grinned, crossing his arms.
To his surprise, Zoro unexpectedly pulled his wallet out from the his back pocket, taking out a twenty dollar bill.
"Will a twenty do? If not, let me know what your prices are." A fluorescent tone of scarlet red tinted Luffy's cheeks again as he held the money in his hand.
In exchange, Zoro gave him a devious smirk and an eyebrow raise that was enough to make the boy feel dizzy.
"If... If I'm not Luffy anymore, what's my name now, Zoro?" The boy pouted, feeling his lips grow heavy from the pinkish lipstick he had on them.
"I suppose you should get used to it starting now, so I'll let you know it. I'll give you that privilege, Captain." Taking in a quick breath, Zoro let the boy know his new name.
"Your name is....." Whispering the rest into his ear, Luffy let out a loud, inhumane noise that was comedic to the Swordsman's ears.
"KEEP DREAMING, MOSS BALL!" The boy shouted, bouncing off of the walls from how infuriated he was.
"I'll give you another twenty."
"If you think I'm stupid enough to fall for-" Before he could say anything, Nami snatched the money from Zoro's hands.
After making such a sly robbery, she disappeared and left a smirk on the Swordsman's face.
"That twenty dollar bill was for two services, not just a name change." He chuckled, darkly.
"Dear dignity... It was nice knowing you."
