Chapter 7: Liu Bei's Lil brother...maybe

"But what?" Liu Bei asked, with no hint of emotion and her emerald glowed under her shadowed face, Which make Herumi shiver but was covered by his calm attitude.

"The two people come to my rescue, and defeated him, I don't even know what happens, back then," Herumi said while wondering why she gazed at him like that.

She narrowed her eyes looking at me as if he was suspicious. he knew it, It's not enough to convince her...oh right!!

"A-actually...I had seen this muscular guy back then, as the two arrive. he was near the boss dungeon. when I blinked once, he suddenly disappeared and the dungeon boss' head exploded as if he got a devastating blow."

 he doesn't know if that should be convincing or not, but at least he tells her 'half' of the truth....or maybe too much?

"I thought It must be his or...theirs doing. after that, I blacked out and you know the rest" he ended his reason.

Liu Bei sighed...Though she was right, Herumi is not the one that defeated the entity but still gets majorly injured. She was grateful that herumi was still alive and The Guardian came at the right time...but why is Cao Cao want him to join the academy?

 It's obvious that herumi doesn't have that much strength. moreover, he doesn't have any mana inside his body.

After seeing Herumi's expression, she was sure that he doesn't lie. it's half of the truth after all.

"I see, you were saved by The Guardian...but a friend of mine said that your speed and strength can match someone who has mana...What do have to you say about it?" Liu Bei said narrowed eyes but Herumi's looks were annoyed? She wonders.

"Let's just say that...three days of training was paid off. because you wouldn't let me so I do it myself" Herumi said with an annoyed tone as he look to the side.

Liu Bei looks down "I'm sorry" she mutters.

After that, no words have been spoken for a minute, but for them, it feels like an age. Herumi doesn't know what's up with her sister and decided to end the conversation.

"If there's nothing else you want to ask, then I'll back to my room" He turns around, before walking away but stopped when he heard a sob.

Herumi looks over his shoulder, his sister approaching him and hugging him. Liu Bei put her head on his while crying quietly. 

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Liu Bei said between her sob.

Herumi on the other hand has no idea how he should calm her down so, he sighs.

"Look I'm fine now, I went out because I want to, There's no need to blame yourself. It's my fault, I know what I had been doing and the consequence of it. If I'm not capable of doing that, How would I be able to..." Herumi said making her sister worried.

"BUT YOU MIGHT DIE!!" Liu Bei said. Knocked sideways, as he hugged him tighter and broke into tears.

'I need to clear this up' Herumi thought as he pats her sister's back and turned to her, breaking the hug.

"I'm...Sorry for being reckless" Herumi wipes off the tear on her cheeks with both hands. 

"But I can't just stay and do nothing, You know," Herumi said, his corner lip curled downward.

Her sister, look down and hugged him again, resting her head on his shoulder.

despite not a long ago after meeting her and never having a sister before, Herumi knows how it feels to lose a loved one, the sadness and grief can be overwhelming.
