I may couldn't keep my promise but I did what I could to slipped in the time to work on this...not so good writing of mine.
Hell this is just a mind dump is what I liked to called but it turned to be...better than I thought, though my writing may not be as good as before because of the college, I have a lot of shit on me. This version is have yet to be polished, well I did edit the whole draft but it still left me with...unsatisfied result. I might do rewriting again.
Well, never mind, I have no one to vent this out to so I lashed out on you guys (I hope you don't mind) and please enjoy this long chapter!

The war maiden, Lu Bu, observed the enigmatic figure known to the people as the guardian. She carefully assessed him, considering his request with a brow raised.
"Contrary to what you believe," the guardian's eyes narrowed, scanning the beast's movement, the war maiden listened closely to his reasoning, "She is none other than the fox shrine maiden, Akagi. Her sister, Kaga passed this information to me"
"And how can you be certain?" she retorted, gritting her teeth, but the conversation had to end as the beast woke up from the guardian's haymaker.
The earth was grumbled as another volley of fireballs rained down upon them. They swiftly leaped back from their spot, the impact creating a billowing cloud of dust in the area.
The guardian saw the dust dispersed, revealing the beast heading towards him.
The Giant brown fox unleashed her nine tails, each adorned with fiery flames, with red-blood eyes glowed with rage. Her sharp teeth gritted dipped with saliva, further encasing how thirsty and boiled the anger within her coursing veins.
Wasting no time, the fox rushed to the guardian, swiping her claws at him with astonishing speed.
"dIE!" She growled. The guardian moved to the side, the claws landed inches away just right beside his foot. The impact was so powerful that his legs trembled, threatening to undermine his balance.
Had he not reacted fast enough, his body would have been torn to shreds.
"HEeeEEeE-el" the fox beast growled; quickly summoning fireballs that were abruptly launched at him.
As the fox drew nearer, the man vanished in the blink of an eye, leaving her bewildered as soon as she opened her eyes.
The fox was about to look around looking for the human, only to find her stomach gripped by excruciating pain. She was thrown from her spot.
She dug her claw to the ground, halting her momentum. Though the pain lingered, it didn't stop the beast from lunging herself at him again, propelled by such relentless speed.
Despite the size of the beast towering over him, it doesn't make him relent but instead...
It makes him more...determined, just like the war maidens who bravely fought the danger.
The beast got close, and another round of fireballs was launched at him. The guardian, thanks to his heightened sense was able to dodge. The heat of the attack was also increased, which meant he'd burn and leave a mark if it hit him.
Some were dangerously close hitting his skin but it didn't appear to be burned despite the increase in temperature.
He might not be able to dodge all of that but he'll do what he can at the moment.
So he was doing his best to avoid those hot-flying balls. While thinking and seeing where the crystal resides.
The ground around him explodes, adding further chaos to the already intense battlefield. The area beneath his feet was reduced to ruins, making it increasingly challenging for him to maintain his balance while evading the relentless offense.
