Herumi was in the auditorium of the academy where all students were asked to gather because something important was going to be announced and whatever it was...somehow it made him nervous.

'I hate crowds', he thought; standing in the crowd, looking around the place to confirm that dryad girl's statement. He thought that he was the only male in his class but he was kind of wrong.

Because, it seems that he is the only male...in this academy.

'That explains why I'm the target of gossip I guess...not that I did anything' He thought checking his surrounding while waiting for the announcement in patience...not really.

It's irritating and a pain in the ass to wait with the crowds and to make it worse. He can just walk away but something tells him to just stay for a moment. Well, it won't hurt to wait anyway.

'I've never been out to look around at this academy, to be honest...' He thought as he recalled what he was doing in these few months. He mostly spends his time reading in the library or his room...or just making something for himself to eat in his club's room. If not for his fellow member, he may not get friends in this academy at all.

And of course training his power...though after the last incident, he rather not doing it to avoid the slip-up. So he did those outside.

Thanks to his time-stop ability, no one would ever figure out where he went or what he was doing.

Not much going on except for training... he was never really interested in going around the academy to check things out. Like places where most students who do martial arts were training.

'I never did anything but...none of these teachers want to train me...' He frowned at the thought, as he let out a sigh. When he asked, they always said that they were busy or just have invested more time in the student who more has potential.

Though, he was sure that it was not the case.

He had asked a different teacher and their reasoning for rejecting him was quite a lot and...insulting. Especially the one that said, they have no time to train good nobody in their ranks. It sucks but nothing he can do about it. While his stand might be ridiculously strong and fast, good training definitely would help...but no one has been willing to take his hand so far.

Except for Ms. Don who her also busy with her duty and barely had the time to spend. He could have just asked but that would be....kind of rude since she might have no time for his trouble.

His family was also busy with the tide and all, so they have no time to spare for him. He can't blame them. The tide can come at any time and anywhere, attack the kingdom with the purpose to rule the world...or for something else.

This isekai thing may be good but with the monsters and all of the evildoers appeared to kill everyone. It may not, though he did have his stand for that but doesn't change the fact that he risked his life to survive...or to save people.

'Might buy some groceries after this...and some snacks' Herumi thought as he look at the stage where a teacher had stood up, ready to announce.

"Attention!" her yell was loud enough to quiet down the crowd of students

The announcement went on for some time, and as his nervous self had thought, it knew something is going to happen. Though it is mostly unrelated to him...the kingdom or even the world was at stake to repel the tides.
