Herumi defiantly waved off the warning as soon as the giant fox growled ferociously, its roar echoing through the air and threatening to deafen anyone who dared to stay near before it leaped towards him with such astonishing speed, defying its massive size.

As the fox closed in, its paw raised for a swipe, released its sharp claws and mouth opened, revealing a swirling blue orb of energy, ready to be unleashed.

The guardian locked his eyes on the imposing beast.

Reacting swiftly, he raised his other arm to block the impending strike. The collision caused shockwaves to ripple around them, stirring up billows of dust that exploded.

In daring moves, the guardian dove beneath the beast, evading the subsequent release energy of energy beam.

The sound of cracking bones erupted with a thud and the fox was sent skidding across the ground. Desperately attempting to regain control, the fox extended its claws, digging deep into the earth in a futile effort to halt its momentum.

Despite its struggle, the creature crashed into a nearby building, causing debris to rain down around the beast.

The guardian didn't bother to look at the impact of the blue orb of energy as he focused his gazes on the giant beast, and its mind raced, attempting to decipher the meaning behind the creature's cryptic words.

The word 'destroy' resonated clearly but the other utterance 'cri...tal' still leaves him perplexed.

He would have ignored it if not for the first word it uttered was a bit clear.

His eyes wandered to the growling beast in before him, shaking its head, looking at him with its renewed fury.

In a dramatic display, blue flames erupted from the fox's body and flickered in the wind. Nine white ethereal tails sprouted from its backside.

The guardian once again gets into his stance, eyes never leaving one another.

But instead of charging forward like it was, the beast slowly moved to the side as if circling him, observing his every move and twitch of his body.

The guardian doesn't have time to play with its games. He began to formulate a plan.

A few seconds passed as he assessed the situation, The fiery blue eyes of the fox beast, never left his figure, the guardian intentionally let out a weary sigh, and his expression turned to a monotone facade, dropping his stance.

He took a glance at the other side, where master Ma Dai was healed using both Diaochan's and Kagura's magic, focused on their task but had their respective weapon out in case of an attack.

The fox narrows its eyes, suspicious of the guardian's act. Does he realize that he is in danger?

The monster stopped, and the nine white tails swung wildly at the air, engulfed in fiery flame that made its surrounding temperatures rise significantly.

The standoff continued, the tension was thick, and the two maidens couldn't help but feel their hearts beating despite, waiting that make the moves first.

The actual teen as the guardian was still...an amateur. If not for his stand speed and strength, he would be nothing but a toast, but his experience with the elemental tides had truly set him apart.

It has honed his instincts and granted him a deeper understanding of the battlefield.

If anything, the guardian would need to end this as soon as possible before moving to the actual battlefield outside of the walls.

With a sudden surge of determination, the guardian focused on channeling his sun energy, coursing through his body, and his figure was fired with a golden aura.
