Chapter 16 - Going On Another Date

The following weekend...

Location - (L/N) Residence, (Y/N)'s Room

Your POV

It should go without saying that things are going back to the way that it should be. Yukina and I are dating again, and I began working at CiRCLE again. When the other members of Roselia took notice of this, they were happy for the both of us, but I can tell it didn't sit well with Sayo, considering when I heard that she was the reason for me and Yukina breaking up. However, it was nice that she admitted about what she did, and apologize for it.

Today is finally the weekend. I didn't have to work, but I did have somewhere to be. I am going to the cat cafe, and as you can guess, I am going with Yukina. She has a cat over there that she really wanted to see, hence why we decided to go today. While making sure I was good for this date, if you want to call it that, my phone buzzed. I checked it, and saw that it was a text from Yukina.

Yukina's text: Hey, I'm ready to go. When are you going to be here to pick me up?

Your text: I'll be over there as soon as I can.

Yukina's text: Alright, I'll be waiting for you. :)

A few minutes later...

Location - Minato Residence

I left my house a few minutes after it hit noon, and I began to make my way to Yukina's place to pick her up. Once I got there, I stopped for a moment and felt scared, mostly because of her father. I wondered if he found out that Yukina and I were sleeping in the same bed together when she spent the night with me? I hope not...

After taking a moment to stop thinking about it, I knocked on the door and Mr. Minato answered it.

"Ah, (Y/N)-kun, it's good to see you again." He said with a smile.

"Hi, nice to see you again, too." I nervously replied, enough to make my voice crack a little.

"Is everything okay?" He asked.

"Nothing. I just thought... you might be upset with me." I said.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Should I be mad at you for something, young man?" He asked. I guess Yukina didn't tell her dad about us sleeping together.

"Oh, umm... nothing." I replied.

"I see."

At that moment, Yukina came to the door, and had an amazing outfit on.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, my love." She said.

"Oh, I wasn't waiting long." I said. Yukina looks beautiful in that outfit she is wearing. I bet Lisa had something to do with it.

"Shall we get going then?" She asked.

"Yes, we should."

Yukina said goodbye to her father, and the two of us began to make our way over to the cafe, holding hands.

15 minutes later...

Location - Cat Cafe

It took us at least 15 minutes to get to the cat cafe from the Minato household. Maybe because Yukina is eager to play with the cats again, that might be it. Once we got there, we were greeted by one of the maids and she told us to sit anywhere. We sat down by the window, and when that happened, one of the cats came over and snuggled up against Yukina.

"Hey cutie." She smiled at the cat.

I giggled a little.

"Did I... say something funny?" She asked.

"Nah, it's just that you're cute when you talk to cats." I replied.

Yukina blushed a little, and looked away.

"Well, ummm..."

Thankfully for her, the maid came over to give us our menus before Yukina could embarrass herself even further.

"Here are the menus. Do you need some time to think about it, or do you know what you want already?" She asked.

"I think I need a few minutes." I replied.

"Same here."

"That's fine. I'll come back in a few minutes." She said and walked away, leaving us alone.

As she walked away, the cat that was cuddling with Yukina's leg was begging for attention from her.

"I think you should put it on your lap." I suggested with a grin.

"You think I should?" She asked, blushing a little at the thought.

"Yes. I think you should."

She picked it up and placed the cat gently on her lap. Thankfully, this cat was kind and peaceful. The moment Yukina placed it on her lap, it didn't want to move an inch.

"It's so cute, isn't it?" I asked.

"Yeah, it is." Yukina replied, staring down at the cat.

30 minutes later...

Location - Station Entrance

After eating and hanging out at the cat cafe, Yukina and I began to walk around for a while before heading home. As we were walking around, we began to discuss on what would be in store for us in the future.

"I see, so the next Future World Fes is right around the corner, huh?" I asked.

"That's right. And this time, we'll get passed the first stage." Yukina replied.

"You guys can do it. I believe in all of you." I said.

She smiled and kissed my cheek.

"Thanks (Y/N)-kun, I love you so much." She said.

"I love you too."

At least... I am hoping that they'll get pass the first stage this time around.
