Chapter 3 - The Backstory, Epic First Part

After school...

Residential Area

Your POV

Today had been a good day. School went well, and I was told I didn't have to work today. Whenever something goes right for me during the day, I would always go to my special spot in the park with my bandmates. But since Rising Dragon is no longer around, it'll just be me. Who knows, maybe one day I'll share my special spot with someone important. 

As I began to make my way over there, I spotted a familiar individual ahead of me. It was Yukina from Roselia. I was happy to see her again as we have gotten closer in the last few days. When she saw me, she smiled happily at me.

"Hey there, (Y/N)-kun. Fancy seeing you here." Yukina said, still smiling.

"Hi there, Yukina. Are you going to CiRCLE for rehearsals?" I asked her.

"No, not this time. Lisa has to go to work, and the studio rooms are all booked for now." She explained.

"That's too bad." I said. "What brings you over here anyway?"

At first, Yukina didn't speak. Her cheeks started to turn red.

"Well, I was kind of hoping... I can spend the afternoon with you, if that is okay with you." She said.

"Oh, I guess we can do that." I said. "I don't have to work today."

Yukina smiled upon hearing that.

"Good to know. So, where do you want to go?"

"I know a place where we can go to."

I took Yukina's hand and began to guide her to the special place I was going to go to. I was blushing a little when I took her hand, but I don't think she'll notice.

20 minutes later...

Location - The Park

We arrived at the place I was trying to get to before being stopped by Yukina. It was an old tree that was located in the park. It might be cut down one day, so I did my best to come here whenever I can. Yukina and I sat behind the tree, and it was wide enough, so no one can see us.

"This is where you wanted to go?" Yukina asked.

"That's right." I replied before looking up at the tree.

"Me and my friends would often come here together after school or after a show. We would hang out here until the stars came out." I added.

I began to think back about the good old days again, but sadly, that would be the one thing that can never come back. But then, Yukina asked me an important question.

"(Y/N)-kun, do you mind if I asked something?"

"Sure, what is it?" I asked.

"What made you decide to form Rising Dragon?" She asked.

"Why do you want to know that?"

"I'm just... curious. That is all."

Now that is the question no one has ever asked me before. If this was a normal fan, I would kindly not to answer that question, but... Yukina is a special fan, and she looks at me with begging eyes. I guess I can tell her.

"Alright, I'll tell you." I said to her with a smile. And so, this was the story that made me want to form my own band.

Flashback - childhood...

Location - Live House

It all started when I was in Junior High, and it was just me and Shingo. Shingo had gotten two tickets to a band he likes, and he asked me to tag along. They called themselves Flaming Skull, and their goal was to be number one in the music word. I wasn't into bands that much back then, but this would be the day that would change everything.
