POEM 35: PERIOD

You are the best part of the yesterday's sun.
You are the best part of the late night.

I remembered when you bumped me upside down!
You replaced the black hue with a yellow hue
You replaced the exaggerating red with the calming blue.

You taught me to sleep at night
And to do things when there is a light.

These are the things you taught me when you are still with me.

Now, we ended up alone.
