Chapter 27

Layla's POV:

Today was Sunday so that meant our Magcon weekend was over. Even though Friday sucked..I did have a great weekend with all of them. Also good news! Shawn and I were so happy! He tweeted out that night that we were officially dating. Lots of fans were happy for us which I really appreciated! But don't get me wrong..got tons of hate as well. I just decided not to look at it.

"Now boarding flight 34 to Los Angeles!"

Oh yes forgot to mention that we were at the airport already. Time was going by so fast it seemed like.

"Layla are you alright?" I hear Shawn ask taking my hand.

"Yeah..just tired that's all." I say with a smile as I kiss his cheek.

"Okay." He says smiling.

We all finally get settled on the plain. I once again had the window seat. Shawn was next to me and next to him was Nash. Oh forgot to mention! Mahogany was gonna be staying with her aunt who lived in LA. As for Aaron and Jacob they were gonna be getting a little condo in the same place were Nash,Matt, and Cam stay. I was excited we would all be together! Well except Jacob.

"Come here." Shawn wines and I laugh and lay my head on his shoulder.

Right when I'm so relaxed my phone goes off.

(Ring Ring)

"Ugh." I say taking out my phone.

"Who is it?" Shawn asks.

"I don't know." I say answering the phone.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hi is this Layla Karp?" The person asks.

"Yes. Who is this?" I ask.

"Hi! This is Steve! I'm a prouder for "Island Records" and I would love to sign you a record deal!" He says and my jaw dropped.

"What's wrong?" Shawn asks curiously.

I give him a "one moment finger"

"Hello?" Steve asks.

"Oh I'm here. On my god that th- that would be awesome!" I stutter.

"Okay great! Well I would like to have a meeting with you Tomorrow if that's okay?" He says.

"That's perfect!" I yell excitedly.

"Okay just come to Island Records at 10:30 tomorrow." He says.

"Okay thank you!" I say and hang up.

"Who was th-" Shawn starts off but I cut him off by hugging him.

"Layla? What's going on?" Shawn asks confused.

"I got signed a record deal for Island Records!" I yell and everyone looks at me.

"Oh my god!" Shawn yells hugging me hard.

I giggle as he lets go of me and kisses me passionately. I then stop giggling and really get into it. And I can tell he does too.

"Um okay we are all right here." Nash says and pushed us apart.

I just sit there stunned. That was one by far the best kiss Shawn has given me. I didn't want it to end. Stupid Nash.

"Continue Layla!" Nash yells.

"Oh..oh! Um so I'm supposed to meet my new manager Steve tomorrow at Island Records." I say.

"That crazy! I have a record deal with Island Records too! My manager is Andrew." Shawn says smiling.

I smile. I was so happy! But I had school tomorrow! Wait..online school? Well I had to! If I wanted this music career.

"Well I guess I will have to do online school." I say.

"Screw it! We are pretty much famous! Let's just all take online school!" Taylor yells and we all agree.

We would be traveling all the time so we actually had no other choice.

(Back at home)

"Honey I'm so proud of you!" My mom says hugging me.

"Thanks mom." I say tearing up.

"Wow I couldn't believe my little sister is gonna become a professional singer!" Vincent says hugging me.

"Congrats Layla!" Ricke says hugging me as well.

"Thanks guys!" I say smiling at them.

After we talked about the whole thing I ran to room. I just got back from the air port about 20 minutes ago. Shawn dropped me off saying he would come by. He said he needed to take a shower first.

(The door bell)

"Layla Shawn's here!" My mom yells.

I squeal and get up and run down the stairs to the front door. Once I got there I saw my mom talking to Shawn.

"So Shawn what brings you here?" She asks with a smile.

"Just here to hang with my amazing girlfriend." Shawn says smiling at me.

I smile blushing.

"Aww you two are dating!" My mother yells.

"Yeah mom." I say and she hugs me.

"Okay mom." I say laughing.

"Okay well you two have fun! But not that other fun! I will be checking in!" My mother yells.

"Okay mom." I sigh grabbing Shawn's hand while he chuckles.

We reach my room and we flop on my bed.

"To bad we can't have fun." Shawn says smirking.

I laugh pushing him a little.

(Ring)

Shawn looks at his phone.

"Oh it's Andrew." Shawn says answering it.

He then gets up and walks into the hall way. I hear mumbling and quiet yelling. What were they talking about?

I then hear him hang up the phone.

"Shawn?" I ask worried.

Shawn walks back in his eyes have tears in them.

"Shawn! What's wrong?" I ask getting up and running over to him.

"I-I'm g-going on t-our." He stutters.

"That's a good thing!" I yell hugging him but he just shakes his head.

"I-I'm gonna be gone..for a long time. If you weren't in the music business I would easily just take you along. But no you had to become a singer!" He yells angerily.

I just stop there stunned.

"You're getting mad at me for making my dreams come true?" I ask hurt.

"No! It's just..I'm gonna be gone 6 months Layla! 6 months! And you can't come because you want to be a singer!" He yells.

Then I just stood there. Then the tears started to fall. I then see Shawn's expression change from angry to scared.

"Layla I'm so sorry I didn't mean to yell at you." Shawn says crying.

"Shawn...please I need space." I say crying.

"Does that mean we are over?" Shawn ask tears still poring out his eyes.

"No..I just need space." I say drying my cheeks.

He nods and walks over to me and kisses me one last time.

"I leave Tuesday." He says softly and walks out of my room.

I then break and sob into my pillow. It was either Shawn or my carrier.
