Chapter 24

Layla's POV:

I open my eyes to the bright sun on my face. I pull the covers over my head and try to go back to sleep.

"Layla." Shawn says and pushes me.

I groan.

"Layla come on." Shawn chuckles.

"Whyyyy." I whine.

"Cuz today is Magcon! Aren't you excited!" Shawn yells.

"Yeah but I want to sleeppppp." I whine.

"Fine." Shawn says and I feel him get off the bed.

I then hear the door close. I then smile. I know Shawn didn't leave the room. Then all the sudden the covers get ripped off me.

"Get uppp!" Shawn yells and I laugh.

"I knew you didn't leave the room." I say getting up and yawning.

I walk over to my phone and check the time. It was 8:30.

"What time is Magcon?" I ask.

"10:30 but we have sound check at 10." Shawn says.

"Oh okay. I'm gonna go see if everyone wants to have breakfast down stairs."
I say walking towards the door.

"Okay." Shawn says and I walk out the door and start walking down the hall.

I first arrive at Brooke and Jades room. I knock and wait for a long time until finally Brooke answers.

"Oh hey. The girl who didn't want to room with us." Brooke says.

"What! I never said that! You know if you guys asked me I would have said yes." I say and Brooke laughs.

"Geez calm down! I was just kidding. Plus I know you really wanted to room with Shawn." Brooke says winking.

I laugh and walk in. I see Jade doing her hair.

"Hey Jade." I say and she waves.

"Okay so breakfast in 30?" I ask and Brooke nods.

I then walk out and jog to Mahogany's room. I get her door and knock. She comes to the door with a smile.

"Layla! Hi!" She says and pulls me into a hug. I smile and hug back.

"So what's up?" She asks.

"Well I was wondering if you wanted to meet all of us in 30 to go down and have breakfast." I say.

"Sure!" She says and I smile.

"Great see you then." I say and walk back to Shawn and I's room.

I was to lazy to go to all of the rooms so I just texted the rest. They said sure. When I walked back into the room Shawn was dressed and ready to go. He has on khakis and a red Magcon hoodie and black vans.

"You look good." I say with a smile.

"Thanks. But you look better." He says and I laugh and look down. I was still in my pyjamas.

"I'm getting ready!" I say and walk to my suit case.

"Here Bart our manager got this for you." Shawn says and gives me a red Magcon hoodie just like his.

"Aww we get to match." I say and Shawn laughs.

I put on a plain white shirt and put the hoodie over it. I then quickly throw on some pants and slip some socks on.
I then grab my black vans and put those on. I then brushed my hair/teeth and quickly put some light makeup. Ready to go.

"Okay ready." I say and jog over to Shawn with his guitar case in his hand.

"Forgetting something?" He asks and nods over to my guitar.

"Oh yeah." I say and walk over and grab it.

Shawn and I then walked out of the room and down stairs.

Jacob's POV:

I was already downstairs..hiding. There are girls walking around searching for us. If I'm seen I will get mauled! Not that I'm not used to it it's just I would really like to go to breakfast without one of my things missing.

"Hey Jacob." I hear someone say behind me.

I turn around and see Aaron. Thank god.

"Oh thank god it's you! I thought you were a fan or something." I say with a chuckle.

Aaron chuckles and stands next me.

(Ding)

I looked at phone and saw that Nash texted that everyone was at breakfast.

"Everyone is at breakfast." I say to Aaron.

"Okay then let's go! I'm starving!" Aaron yells and him and then walk to buffet in the hotel.

We arrive and I see everyone sitting at a table. I look at see Layla. She looks at me and just looks away. I don't know why she is treating me this way.

Shawn's POV:

We are sitting at the table when I saw Jacob and Aaron walk in. I felt Layla tense up a little. He was looking at her. I really wanted to know what she said to him yesterday.

"Aye Jacob and Aaron have arrived!" Taylor yells.

Jacob laughs and takes a seat next to Layla. I feel my cheeks get red. Why does he now want to get close to Layla.

"Hey Layla." Jacob says with a smile.

Layla just stares at him.

"Hi." She says flat and takes a bite of her bacon.

I smile and grab Layla's hand from under the table.

"Well someone is in a grumpy mood." Jacob says.

Layla just keeps on eating.

"So..I heard some nosies last night. Maybe You and Shawn?" He says and Layla chokes and I almost spit out my orange juice.

I look at Jacob and he has a smirk on his face. Everyone is now looking at us.

"What no! Nothing happened last night!" Layla says standing up.

"Woah! What's going on?" Mahogany says.

"Jacob what's your deal?" Nash asks.

"Nothing it's just I heard some noises and thought Shawn and Layla were getting busy." Jacob says with a big smirk.

"Jacob stop being so rude!" Mahogany yells.

My head was spinning. I was trying to say something but it wouldn't come out. Layla, Jacob, Mahogany, And Mash were all yelling and everyone just watched with stunned faces. I couldn't take it.

"Stop!" I yelled and everyone looked at me.

"Nothing happened last night between Layla and I! I have no idea what Jacob is talking about. And if you have a problem, I would like it if you just told me and not make up bullshit lies embarrassing Layla and I!" I yell.

Everyone just looks at me. Layla smiles at me and mouths "thank you" I smile at her and continue to eat.
Everyone just follows what i do..except Jacob.

"Okay let's just forget any of this happened." Mahogany says.

Everyone nods. I just grab Layla's hand and rub my thumb in circles on it.

"Yeah guys it's Magcon! Let just all have a amazing weekend together." Mahogany says with a smile.

I sure hope we all just have fun..
