Chapter 19

Layla's POV:

Shawn gently sets me down on the passenger seat and closes the door. I sniffle and dry my eyes one last time. Then Shawn got into the car and sat in the drivers seat.

"Layla...are you okay?" Shawn asks with gentle eyes.

I look down and nod. I actually really wasn't. I could not belive I dated Cameron..after what just happend.

"I'm fine." I finally mange to say.

Shawn nods and starts the car. He then drives off. I sit up in the seat and pull down the little mirror. I look at the side of my face. A big red splotch on the side of my face. I let a tear drop just thinking about what just happened. I quickly wipe it away. Shawn finally pulls up to my driveway and parks the car. He then looks at me.

"Are you sure you're okay." Shawn says with worry in his eyes.

I look at him and smile as wide as my face would let me, which was only a half smile because my face was sore. I then leaned over and kissed him.

"I'll be fine Shawn." I say and he smiles.

"Okay I'll pick you up at 5." He says and kisses me one last time.

"Okay." I say and get out.

He then smiles at me and drives away. I then walk up the stairs to my front door and open it. I then slowly close the door. It was 11:30 and I knew everyone was asleep. I then creeped up the stairs and made it into my room. I then flopped on my bed and cried.
I thought I knew Cameron but...I guess not.

Matt's POV:

"Matthew why can't I meet your friends." Ashley says looking at me.

I sigh. Ashley was my...girlfriend. While Brooke was all over Jack for the last month. I decided to get a girl that actually loved me..and that I loved back.

"Um..because I'm waiting for the right time Ash." I say smiling down at her.

She looks at me and smiles.

"Okay, well call me when you land." She says and kisses me and leaves.

I smile and call Nash.

"Hello?" I hear Nash say in a tired voice.

"Hey Nash! Um..were did you guys go?" I ask.

"Dude we left like a hour ago!" Nash says into the phone.

"Oh.. Sorry. I lost you guys and couldn't find you." I lie.

"Well jut saying we have a flight at 7 in the morning." Nash says and hangs up.

"Wow...thanks for the help Nash." I whisper and put my phone into my pocket.

I guess I will just call a cab...

Brooke's POV:

"Bye Jack." I say leaning over to kiss him then getting out.

"Bye Brooke!" He yells then drives away.

I look at the clock it's almost 12! I bed to go and get to bed. I quickly open my front door and close it quietly. I then creep up my stairs and into my room. I then flop on my bed and sigh. I need to sleep but...I can't. I keep thinking about..Matthew. I am pretty much cheating on him..even though me and Jack aren't dating. We have kissed and almost did it. So..I feel like a cheater. Ugh..

Nash's POV:

I just got off the phone with Matthew. He is going to be a bitch in the morning. It's 12 and we have a flight in 7 hours. But we have to leave a bit early so we can eat and stuff. I sigh and hear crying coming from Cams room. I know this is all his fault but I still feel bad for him. He needs help..and I'm here for him. He will probably never get Layla back..after what happened..but I can help him get off drugs and into the right path. Plus Layla and Shawn look..so happy together. Cameron and her did too once look like that..but that ended a long time ago.

I finally get up and knock on Cams door.

"Cam?" I ask.

I hear sniffles.

"What?" He asks sniffling.

"Can I come in please?" I ask.

There was a long silence but then Cameron opens the door. I just walk in and hug him.

"Nash..I fucked up." Cameron whispers crying.

"Don't worry Cam..I'm here for you." I whisper and hug him harder.

"But..Layla." He says and I pull back and let go, and stare straight up at him.

"Cameron..you will never get her back. I'm sorry man..it's just the truth. Look what you did to her. And have you realized every time you hurt her..there was always someone helping get through that..do you know who that person was?" I ask Cam.

Cameron just looks down.

"Shawn." He chokes out.

"Yeah it was Shawn. He has been there for Layla when you hurting her. And tonight when you slapped her guess who helped her then..Shawn." I say.

Cameron just sits on his bed staring at the ground.

"I think you need to move on...because she has someone now Cam." I say.

Cameron finally looks up and nods.

"I just don't want to hurt her anymore. That's all I care about." Cameron says tearing up.

"Don't worry you won't." I say sitting down on his bed rubbing his back.

"Thanks Nash." He says.

"No prob. I'm your best friend, remember that. Now get some sleep and be pumped tomorrow! We are going to San Diego!" I say and Cam cracks a smile.

I then walk out and go back into my room and lay down. It's going to fun tomorrow..hopefully.
