Chapter 5

Layla's POV:

(After school)

Shawn and I walked back to the car hand and hand. Finally when we reached the car he stopped me.

"Layla, would you like to go on a date tonight?" He asked me smiling.

"I would love to." I say smiling back at him.

"Great, we can go to the pizza place across from the mall?" He asks.

"Sure sounds great." I say.

Right when he unlocks the car Matt comes running to me.

"Layla can you please come with us?" Matt asks.

"You where?" I ask.

"Back to our place." Matt says.

I look at Shawn and he nods.

"I will see you tonight." He says.

"Alright bye." I say and he smiles and gets in he car.

Matt and I start walking to the car. When Matt pulls me aside.

"Why are you seeing him tonight?" Matt asks.

"Oh..um because." I say hoping Matt will just leave it alone.

"Layla..I have known you for awhile now were best friends, please tell me." Matt says.

"Fine but promise not to tell Cameron?" I ask.

"Promise." Matt says putting his right hand on his heart looking up and I laugh.

"Okay so Shawn and I are dating." I say.

Matt looks at me and then at his feet.

"Oh..um great." He says with a small smile.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing come on Nash and Cameron are waiting." Matt says and we run to the car.

Matt's POV:

Layla and I finally get into the car and head to our apartment. I was so upset when she said she was dating Shawn. What about Cameron! Now that Cameron told us the truth they need to get back together. When we get to our place I'm telling Nash right away.

"You guys want something to eat?" Cameron asks.

"Sure." Layla says.

"I'm up." I say.

"Hellz yeah." Nash says and we laugh.

Cameron drives up to Taco Bell and we all cheer. He orders our food and we eat in the car.

"I swear if you spill something my car." Cameron says laughing.

"Dude your car is already ratchet." Nash says laughing.

"Yeah the center consul is broken." Layla says laughing.

"Well.ask Matt how that happened." Cameron says.

"Hey it was an accident." I say.

"What did you do?" Layla asks.

"I um...was in the front seat and Cameron left to get something out of the house so, I thought it would be funny to be tweaking when he came back so I stood on the seat. While I did that I fell and landed on the consul." I say.

"Wow." Layla says.

Finally we make it to the apartment and we all get out and run to our room. Cameron unlocks the door and Layla runs and jumps onto the couch and lays down.
