Shawn's POV:
My eyes slowly open. I wearily look around and see scattered bodies everywhere. Some were moving and some just laid there. I look around and see Andrew and Steve. They both had blood on their clothes.
"Shawn you're alive!" Andrew yells weakliy as he spots me.
"Yeah." I say wincing in pain.
Andrew slowly crawls over to me. Steve however stayed were he laid.
"Shawn are you hurt?" Andrew asks worried.
I checked myself over. There was nothing wrong with me, may just a few cuts and bruises. Otherwise I was unharmed.
"No, I'm alright." I say.
"Well someone called 911 and they are on their way. Good thing we didn't crash into water." Andrew says sighing.
I nodded. I then felt my heart drop. Where was Layla?
"Where is Layla?" I ask with a sharpness in my voice.
"Oh, um..I haven't seen her." Andrew says looking down.
I quickly got up, but Andrew pulled me swiftly back down.
"Stop! I need to find her!" I yelled tears briming my eyes.
"Shawn, you just crashed out of an airplane. You need to calm down and take it easy." Andrew says looking deep into my eyes.
"No, Andrew. I don't give a shit that I just crashed out of an airplane! I'm not going to take it easy until I find Layla and I know she is alright!" I yell harshly at Andrew.
Andrew eyes are wide. He is probably surprised that I used that language and that I yelled at him. But I didn't care, all I cared about was finding Layla. I got up and stumbled a bit. My legs were really sore. I must of landed wrong on them. I looked around at all the people laying down. I looked and looked and looked until I saw her. I saw her long beautiful brown hair lay down her back. I then looked and she had blood on her clothes. My breath hitched as I looked more closely.
"Layla!" I yelled running over to her.
I kneeled down next to her. Her eyes were wide open...
"Layla? Babe are you okay?" I ask as I softly pushed her.
She just stayed the way she was. She didn't move at all.
"Layla? Stop messing with me." I say sternly as my voice cracks at the end.
I push her again, with a little more force. She still didnt move. I felt my heart start to race. I flipped her over so she faced.
"Layla! Wake up!" I yell with tears running down my cheek.
She still didn't move.
"Layla!" I sob shaking her.
"Shawn, stop." I hear Andrew say from behind me.
"Excuse me?" I ask angirly as I turn to see Andrew staring down at me.
"Shawn, I think she is-" Andrew starts but I cut him off.
"Don't you fucking finish that sentence." I say through gritted teeth.
Andrew backs away. I then turn back to Layla.
"B-babe? C-come on wake up." I sniffel quietly.
Layla still doesnt move. I looked at her chest..it was still rising and falling.
"Layla...I know you're still alive. Come on baby, you can't be..gone." I say sobbing.
Layla blinks. She slowly looks up at me.
